The elementary school(s) in Kingston were quickly overrun with dozens of new non English speaking students. Supposedly this caused a noticeable spike in the voting booths 2 weeks ago. Expect in the future to see such maneuvers on the 2nd Wednesdays in November.
After just a day or so, one of the sanctuaried immigrants was caught in an armed robbery in I heard a Target store. I have a good source for that but this information is all 2nd hand as I stopped reading newspapers and using old media sources long ago.
It is not challenging at all to get to Martha's Vineyard from Plymouth or Kingston. Anticipate more of this crime by our uninvited guests.

I have no doubt that the article is true and that there are now many illegals and poor living on MV.
I would expect that break ins will go off the charts over the winter.
As many/ most of the highest $$ homes are seasonal and may not be occupied at all during the winter and off season. These are prime targets for thieves.
Even if there are no easy jewelry type things there during the winter. You can expect tons of high end furniture, electronics, and other very high resale opportunities.

I would expect that there is already a thriving organized crime element there.
Very rich tourists looking for drugs. Drug activity is almost exclusively gang/ organized crime related. It is a high $$ opportunity.
I would also expect that in many instances. Domestic help will be skewed very heavily towards female workers. And then further largely immigrants. That leaves a lot of low skilled out of work, husbands and boy friends looking for money making activities.
