TOKYO -- On Saturday morning, some of Asia's best-known politicians, corporate leaders and academics gathered at a hotel conference room just steps away from the Japanese prime minister's office.
At each place on the table was a large envelope that contained the detailed biographies of the roughly 50 attendees and a white folder with the words "The Trilateral Commission."
First time attendees were elated. One Japanese professor told one of the panels he "truly appreciated" the invitation, because "The Trilateral Commission has been a big enigma to me."
"Some websites say that all the significant events in the world have been predetermined by the Trilateral Commission," he said to laughter from the veteran attendees.

On Saturday, however, the proceedings of the commission were opened to three reporters from Nikkei Asia. They were permitted to attend the meeting of the commission's Asia Pacific Group on Nov. 19 and 20, on the condition that the discussants would not be quoted by name. This was the first time in its five decades that members of the press have been allowed to sit in for all of the sessions at the Asia Pacific Group.
The effort by the Asia Pacific Group to disclose the discussions is not necessarily aimed at demystifying it to critics, however. Instead, the press has been invited to highlight a rift that may be emerging between Asia and the other wings of the organization.
"We feel that the U.S. policy toward Asia, especially toward China, has been narrow-minded and unyielding. We want the people in the U.S. to recognize the various Asian perspectives," said Masahisa Ikeda, an executive committee member of the Trilateral Commission. Ikeda has been named the next director of the Asia Pacific Group, and is scheduled to assume the position next spring.

I hardly ever hear anyone talking about the Trilateral Commision any more. From Bill Clinton’s era, on through Obama, it used to be a common topic on talk radio.
Maybe now, it is known under a different description.

In 1970, Zbigniew Brzezinski wrote "Between Two Ages: America's Role in the Technetronic Era", the major content of the "Trilateral Commission" section of his Wikipedia biography. He established the Trilateral Commission in 1974 with David Rockefeller in 1974.
About this time, Nixon visited China. Mao had died. China's ancient culture was razed by the Cultural Revolution. Milton Friedman was preaching the gospel of capitalism to Chinese Communist apparachiks, (though there's much less difference between capitalism and communism than is commonly understood). China was a tabula rasa, a blank table, able to be incorporated into the world system if, as I will speculate here, it could conform to the West's population control policies to be granted admission to the major leagues by the authorities of the World Bank and the Rockefellers' Population Foundation. Yes, Mao died in 1976, after Nixon went to China. But he was in decrepitude, his widow in the Gang of Four was running the country, Song Jian’s roll-out of the One Child Policy was not accomplished overnight. Mao’s exact date of demise is not so significant in the bigger picture. The One Child Policy was generally Deng Xiao Peng’s operation, interwoven with the Trilateral Commission’s founding in 1974. It was an epochal change in society.

There is nothing theoretical about it. The Trilateral Commission and WEF exist, are quite open about their agendas, and those agendas are good for neither Americans nor our Constitutional Republic.

Correct. They are merely groups of people who are in charge of substantially powerful entities and corporation who collectively control mostly everything.
Their power stems from the ability to fund candidates and control most of the mainstream media.
Donald J. Trump doesn't require their imprimatur, hence remains a threat to them. They aren't all powerful. Yet powerful enough to enlist/bribe/order DAs and committees so as to maintain a steady persecution of the man in perpetuity.
Yes there are a lot of private groups with influence.
