More than three weeks after losing a reelection bid, President Jair Bolsonaro on Tuesday blamed a software bug and demanded the electoral authority annul votes cast on most of Brazil’s nation’s electronic voting machines, though independent experts say the bug doesn’t affect the reliability of results.
Such an action would leave Bolsonaro with 51% of the remaining valid votes — and a reelection victory, Marcelo de Bessa, the lawyer who filed the 33-page request on behalf of the president and his Liberal Party, told reporters.

Electronic voting machines were sold to us as more accurate (computers are unbeatable at counting!) and faster (instant results!)
The results take forever and every election there are "irregularites" and highly unusual things like security footage of randoms walking in and putting thumb drives in them for a while and nobody knows why but pay no attention, we're sure it doesn't effect the vote counts.
Basically they lied about all the benefits. They are less accurate, less accountable, and purposely used to drag out the results. Basically electronic voting machines are a scam to end real voting wherever they are used. They need to be banned.

They work fine in Florida. The problem isn’t the machines, it is early voting, mail in voting, motor vote, lack of ID, and election law tampering using the courts to carry out end runs around state government legislation.
