Rep. David Valadao (R-CA) was narrowly reelected Monday, defending his seat despite voting to impeach former President Donald Trump last year, only the second Republican of ten who did so to return to Congress.
Valadao defeated Democrat Rudy Salas by three percentage points in the close race in the 22nd congressional district. A Republican in a heavily Latino district, Valadao has always faced tough reelection races. In 2018, he was narrowly unseated by Democrat lobbyist T. J. Cox, who has since been indicted for fraud in that election.

I betcha Rep. David Valadao got more money from the RNC than Rep. Andy Biggs did, I betcha
Voting to impeach Trump may have helped him get reelected. It also may have helped the Republicans take the house. That said, I can’t really celebrate his reelection.
Gee what part of Trump's legacy don't you like?

Which POTUS was as successful as Trump? Look at what Trump accomplished:
Who the heck can accomplish the above in four years while being impeached twice and investigated by Obama's Weaponized Agencies?
fixed it
Oh wait, you meant Valadao re-electiuon. Sorry my mistake.
And.. The departure from Afghanistan would’ve been far more orderly.
What makes you think I am not MAGA on steroids?
Is he going to support the Biden investigations?
We weren't going to stop you. You were on a roll.
Keep your eye on this one. Since the house is going to be extremely close I would not doubt it for one minute he will start voting with the filthy rats!
Of course not.
Gas price per gallon was about $2.30;
Inflation about 1.4%, mortgage rates were half of what they are now;
Unemployment was low before Covid and before Blue Governors shut everything down and we were in the midst of a V-shape recovery until January 22, 2021;
Tax decrease; tax laws promoted small businesses as well as large;
US enjoyed energy independence - No Green Agenda, no war on energy, No Paris Treaty;
No war in Ukraine, no threat of nuclear war, NATO paid its way;
China was quiet and we were winning the trade war;
US companies were bringing home the jobs due to well executed tax treatments;
Peace in the Middle East aka Abraham Accords; US Embassy moved to Jerusalem; and Iran was isolated.
Got three non-left “I don’t know what a woman is” Supreme Court Justices on the bench allowing Roe vs Wade to be overturned.

Excellent points!
Hillary walks free, swamp wasn’t drained and the wall wasn’t built.
Most of Trump’s accomplishments were quickly undone because he didn’t get to the core problems.
The main reason why we want him to get re-elected!!!
Maybe the Dumbs let him win because he voted to impeach. Nonetheless, 3% is a pretty solid margin, and that should get us to 219. If Boebert survives her recount, that should make 220.
Mortgage rates in Feb 2022 were 2.75%
Now rates are 7.22%

Best I can tell over on CNN’s congressional results map, two more CA districts, 3 & 13 are not called but Republicans are in the lead. Alaska is a mess with ranked choice. Redumblicans may get to 222.
Yes, the GOP better have a cushion of a few seats as guys like this aren’t reliable.
Forget it Jake, it’s California.
If he had resigned I doubt a replacement candidate would have won. We’d have the D.
If he had not voted to impeach he may have lost. His vote to impeach probably helped him with the squishy RINOs that are a serious part of the California Republican Party.
There are many great, true Republicans here. But not enough. You play the hand you’re dealt.
