Just a thought - why won’t Merrick Garfinkle go after an actual criminal this hard, such as global mega-fraudster Sam Bankrun-Fraud? He actually did just steal multiple $ billions, no doubt about it.
This special counsel is not intended to find any wrongdoing because there isn’t any and they know it. It is exactly as it was with the Russia collusion investigation and the Ukraine impeachment phone call. They knew there was nothing illegal they just wanted to waste Trump’s time and money. An analogy: in the movies the person running away knocks over a shelf knowing full well that it isn’t going to stop whoever is chasing them. It’s a distraction used to absorb attention and resources and if it does actual damage so much the better.
