I can’t believe how negative and angry so many people are on this thread. Let the guy get started. If this is how we treat people who are on our own team, it is no wonder that the only people we can get to run for office are frequently not wise, Not ethical, shameless. If I were him, I would be disinclined to listen to or do any favors for angry ranters.

Regretfully, it's not just this thread. There's huge lack of civility and a lack of intelligence in many posts. Some people on the right are just as emotionally driven as leftists.
I think it gets down to a lack of hope and negative expectations. This is really believing that evil has won and will win. Regardless of how dark it looks, some of us with faith believe God for better days.
As for me, I stand on Isaiah 54:14 (NLT) YOU WILL BE SECURE UNDER A GOVERNMENT THAT IS JUST AND FAIR. and Proverbs 14:34a (NLT) GODLINESS MAKES A NATION GREAT.

for many, many years. Though it is good to welcome Him
once again, chances are He will not be welcomed by all in
the halls. BTW it would not be frowned upon if you were
to sing “The Star Spangled Banner” as well. (or, occasionally,
“God Bless America”).
I don’t care if they sing, “Sympathy for the Devil”, before each session. As long as they stick to conservative values and don’t sell out the right and kowtow to Democras as they have done for the past 30 years. I sincerely doubt the majority of them will stick to Christian and Constitutional principles.
