Colorado state Rep. Brianna Titone (D) on Monday said the deadly shooting that left five people dead and 25 wounded at an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colo., was the result of “tropes, insults, and misinformation” about the community.
“The LGBTQ+ community woke up this morning to yet another horrific event of murder. When politicians and pundits keep perpetuating tropes, insults, and misinformation about the trans and LTBGQ community, this is a result. I’m angry & my heart breaks for those who lost their lives,” Titone, who is transgender, wrote on Twitter.

Actually, it’s the fault of his mother whose response to the bombing “incident” where he threatened to kill her was to...hire a really good defense attorney. He got the charges drop.
I suspect that Mom probably told the DA she wouldn’t cooperate and therefore they really didn’t have a case. She also probably swore she was going to get treatment for the “kid,” who btw is 6’6”. But since her way of dealing with his illness seems to have been to enable him...when he had been violent and punched people, she had tried to find boxing lessons for him!...that was clearly not going to work.
She reminds me of the mother of the Sandy Hook shooter - who not only knew he was crazy, but bought him the weapons - and then was the first one he killed.
The state is at fault for accepting this deal in the first place, and they obviously never monitored him after that.
And I doubt that the gay issue had anything to do with it. He just knew that the bar was sitting by itself in some grungy part of town, easy to get into, and probably full of people who were likely to be unarmed and couldn’t kill him before he killed them.
Btw… does anyone have the number of shootings in Chicago THIS weekend?
EVERY weekend that number is higher than these random occurrences.

You have a point, but I was referring to what is known as English common law that forms the backbone of our common law.

Whatever the reason behind the shooting, I can almost guarantee it had nothing to do with tropes, insults, or misinformation. Truth and reality are enough. It takes restraint for normal people to be tolerant of blatant sexual deviance. I am surprised there isn’t more of this kind of thing.
Titone should focus on the perv who molested him as a child.
Sometimes I do feel sorry for the LGBTQCNN people. It must be hard playing pretend all the time.

At least one of the gay boys deserves his props because he was man enough to disarm the perp. That's more than you can say for the girly men LEOs in Uvalde Texas.
The story seems to be that the perp had both a an AR and a hand gun. Was using the AR when a patron grabbed the hand gun and glocked him on the head whence they then took him down.
“Tropes, insults, and misinformation” are excellent descriptors of Biden and Dem’s dehumanization campaign against half the populace with different political views from their own.
The guy is one of them. He got kicked out of the club for bad behaviour. Look at his pix. He is a fat man-baby, probably totally self centered and unable to think ahead to consequences. I would bet he has been indulged all his life.
