Arizona AG opens inquiry into Maricopa County election irregularities, possible legal violations

Election integrity unit demands evidence, full report before midterm results certified.

The Arizona attorney general’s office has opened an inquiry into Maricopa County’s handling of the mid-term elections, demanding a full report of well-publicized irregularities and warning there is evidence of “statutory violations.”

The letter from Attorney General Mark Brnovich’s election integrity unit marks a major escalation in the dispute over how voters were treated on Election Day in the state’s largest county, where scores of ballot tabulators had problems because of printing problems.

The problems have delayed the declaration of a winner in the razor-thin state attorney general’s race and led GOP gubernatorial candidate KariLake to question as premature the media’s declaration that her opponent, Democrat Katie Hobbs, won that race.

The letter sent late Saturday from Assistant Attorney General Jennifer Wright to the county’s chief civil division attorney, Thomas Liddy, demanded a full report on how the tabulator and printer issues were handled as well a copy of each voting location's Official Ballot Report, including any discrepancies and explanations.

Wright demanded the evidence be turned over prior to the county sending its final canvas fir certification of the vote, which is due by Nov. 28.

Is this the same investigation like his taking a look at what happened in the 2020 election after Ward found irregularities after the audit, that Maricopa Cty didn’t cooperate in.

Perhaps just for show, but it's a start. TEAM LAKE NEEDS TO FILE THEIR OWN CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT ON BEHALF OF ALL ARIZONA VOTERS.

Make sure BRIAN RAMIREZ doesn't go anywhere near the Maricopa voting machines:

They should also look at why a woman running for governor is in charge of counting to votes in the first place.

And why there were no vote counting problems in the primary, but they all happened in the general, mainly in Republican areas.

Right now in the race for Attorney General of Arizona the margin is only 570 votes in favor of the Democrat and still votes out there in all counties not just the D ones.

This all goes away in January if the Dem is elected AG in a race that the 2 candidates are separated by a few 100 votes. I don’t think the new AG would be too interested in investigating her party slate’s voting fraud

It’s almost like she understands the implications, and used the word ‘lawful’, indicating an understanding of the plenary powers between state legislatures and Congress. She may understand that an unlawful fed election can cost a state it’s repesentation in Congress, and whatever terms Congress wants to add to allow the state to gain back its representation in Congress.

Ooooh, A strongly worded letter. That’ll set them straight.

Clueless much? She presented a statement that indirectly referenced a potential loss of representation for the state in Congress if the state is found to have disenfranchised all its voters due to the mistakes she listed. She has labeled the election by Hobbs UNLAWFUL, depending on the explanations she requested. If that label stands, then quo warrantos can be used to remove any officeholders as a result of the election.
