My guess is that he is a afraid that a recount would show many of his votes were bogus and embarrass him.
That would be the natural reason for conceding a close race without a recountt.

They barely missed defeating an outspoken conservative this time. They do not intend to fail in 2024.

He came close to unseating Boebert in a heavily GOP district If that heavily GOP district is correct, then it does not say much about republicans in that area voting for a communist dimocrat to unseat a republican, unless they are so sick of the republican in office, that they would vote for satan himself to beat her/him/it in an election.

I believe this is nothing more than the Democrats telling him to be gracious and concede, hoping to use his actions as token proof that Democrats accept the results of close elections...you know, unlike a certain other Governor candidate!
