Wish I had a company that made HIMARS missiles. It could take up to 3 years to produce all the missiles being sent to Ukraine. And, after seeing how effective they are, countries all over the world (including NATO members) are ordering them by the dozens.

Even if you don’t care about the money, depleting stock is irresponsible.

We might need that stuff to defend actual US interests in the intervening period.

Ukraine is a money laundering scheme to funnel tax payer money through Ukraine back to politicians and their friends in the Defense industry.

It’s obvious to anyone who is honest.

Afghanistan dried up, so the military industrial complex needed another honeyhole.

Tell me I’m wrong.

The US military is not on our side.

It's corporate welfare for the "defense" industry. Defund and dismantle. The USA is finished anyway.

Putinist doggerel designed to hurt Ukraine and favor surrender to Putler’s murderous expansionist dictatorship. The fact is a lot of this “replacement” equipment is due to orders from Australia, Estonia, Poland, and Taiwan. Any money the “Pentagon” spends will be reimbursed by these sales.

$2 or 3 billion is nothing. The foreign sales of this system will more than make up for it. And the Pentagon has a $750 billion budget. This “depletion” they speak of is miniscule.

The US has given Ukraine 20 Himars systems. The US military has over 400 such systems. The US military was planning to order more ANYWAY. The goal is to have over 500.

The Stinger missile system is now obsolete in electronics. It must be replaced anyway. Long before RuSSia invaded Ukraine, the request went out for a replacement system.

The M113 armored carriers sent to Ukraine are obsolete. It will be replaced ANYWAY.

The Javelin missile system has several pending orders for foreign sales. Several countries want to buy the system.

The US gave Ukraine 170 M777 howitzers. Still has over 500 howitzers still in stock.

Most of the rest of US shipments have been ammunition and small arms. Ukraine has received no planes, tanks, helicopters, and no IFV’s.

Ukraine has been given relatively little, and still RuSSia was reversed.

But Putnists are not bothered by facts.
