The leftists can ask to be paid after teaching.
If they screw up, they will get just a Lincoln cent.

Ah, Dorkbama judge. The slime continues long after the turd left.

DeSantis and others who want to cancel speech by law should know it will not pbe allowed. The laws should require institutions to mandate the presentation
Of opposing presentations.

“Having balanced the context, the state’s asserted interest, and the strong predilection for academic freedom in the context of these cases, this court concludes that the state of Florida, as an employer and educator, cannot restrict university employees from expressing a disfavored viewpoint about a matter within the established curriculum while instructing on that curriculum,” Walker wrote, adding that “such viewpoint discrimination ‘is poison to a free society.’”The state of Florida determined that it does not want its EMPLOYEES to "indoctrinate" students in Marxist ideology. The Obama judge determines that the state MUST allow and PAY for this Marxist ideology to be taught.

This is an Employer/Employee relationship. It only applies to State Schools.
DeSantis has the right the same as Elon Musk has a right.

Not to do what DeSantis proposes is to leave the professoriate with a demonstrated tighter indoctrinating (now WOKE) grip over students—in opposition to parents’ interests, whose who are generally the ones footing their children’s university bills.
For the state and parents—those footing the vast majority of state schools’ expenses—to find traction in expressing their interests alongside the schools’ influence is only right.

As I read this, the restriction only applies to university-level education, leaving elementary and secondary education restrictions in place. I think indoctrination in the earlier years/grades is far more important to prevent. By the time a student reaches university, they are of an age to exercise their own judgment.

Requiring schools to teach students factual information is unconstitutional.
This judge needs some remedial courses in law and the constitution.

Academic freedom of State schools to indoctrinate kids? Not sure this judge understands the First Amendment.
