From the onset of the Ukraine war, the corporate media, politicians, and all the controlled NGOs throughout America and Western Europe were lockstep in their claim that the Russian military action in eastern Ukraine was unprovoked and unjustified—an act of aggression that could not be allowed to stand.
There was one problem with this propaganda blitz: it was totally untrue. The Deep State—the government elites, intelligence community, and the military establishment—has spent decades threatening and provoking Russia by pushing NATO up against their border.

Incoming and take cover Mr. George D. O’Neill Jr.
The NAFO idiots will quickly label you a paid Russian informant, a Russian bot, a Russian shill, a Putinist...well, you get the picture.
Russia has spent decades pushing eastern Euorpean countries into NATO, for fear of Russian aggression.
and what’s the excuse for Russia attacking Georgia (2008)?
nobody “forced” Russia to invade Ukraine
they made that decision all by themselves
there’s always some doofus making excuses for the monsters ... same thing happened with Hitler too
Corp MSM, NGOs, & FR neocons... were lockstep in their claim
“...same thing happened with Hitler too”
Ironic that you bring up Hitler, ain’t it.
Done a little research on Freeland yet?
By the way, has Justin Castro recovered from the utter schooling and scolding he received from Xi?
If this claim that Russia only attacked Ukraine because of the fear of NATO aggression, then they would settle for a guarantee of Ukrainian neutrality and leave Ukrainian territory. Rather, it is merely a transparent excuse to justify the ceasing of that territory. The author also ignores Russia’s own provocations forcing Ukraine to seek protection under the NATO umbrella.
I blame Putin.
“Blame the Deep State for Carnage in Ukraine”
Blame the Deep State for Carnage in the US electoral system
There, fixed it
Having your dreams of expansion into other countries "threatened" is not a justification for going to war. "You're trying to make it so we can't invade other countries, so we have to go to war." Utter crap.
Way too much truth here. Should the FR Biden Regime zealots attempt to read this their media addled brains would surely go on vapor lock if not just explode.
Preaching to the choir. The choir refers to anyone actually paying attention and not on the Globohomos payroll.
@RepThomasMassie
Biden’s latest Ukraine spending request will put the US Congress on a trajectory to spend TWICE as much money on Ukraine as we spend on roads and bridges in a year. No one can tell you where it’s all gone or going.
Demand a halt. Demand an audit. Demand an Inspector General.

Like North Vietnam, Russia will use any excuse to justify it's annexation of Ukraine, but it is much more critical for their long term viability as a country.
And like South Vietnam, our government is sending billions to prop up a Ukrainian regime that they know to be corrupt.
But the biggest difference is that the Zelenskyy regime is an important cog in the WEF Globalist apparatus.
So yeah, Putin is a despot, but unlike Zelenskyy he would not risk starting WWIII.
Only Russia is too blame for the carnage in Ukraine. They started this war and they own 100% of the responsibility for it.
In 2014 the United States assisted, if not outright directed, a coup d'état against an elected government in Ukraine because that government wanted friendly relations with Russia—a larger neighbor with a shared history stretching back centuries. The Deep State could not tolerate that friendship.
