Just wait until next election cycle. Your inbox will overflow with begging from every member of congress.

Thanks. I donated in ‘16. I haven’t donated since then.

I donated in '16 and '20.

Now I get emails from Don Jr. telling me how disappointed his father is with me.

Yeah, the reality is that a politician or PAC is just a middleman to funneling money right into big media. You might as well just walk into your local news station, or to any media personnel you can find and hand them $50. Same thing.

Nobody who ever donated to Trump via website would ask that question.

All Republican candidates seem to go through "WinRed" In my opinion, they need to stop. WinRed is very possibly the biggest reason to not donate to any candidate. I hate them with every fiber of my being for their spamming.

After contributing in 2016, I finally gave up and abandoned my email. I am getting hundreds a day. And texts? I have blocked hundreds of numbers (takes12 keystrokes each by the way) almost as an experiment. My number has been sold to every political scammer that exists. They rotate the same request through number after number. By doing that, they clearly recognize that I don’t want to be contacted. What the hell is the end game? Now I will change my number I have had since the advent of cell phones and never give another dime unless I can do so with no identifiers.

Yep ... it's a colossal pain and source of both email and text message spam.

Can’t people just send a check in the mail? Or a USPS money order?

I sent that Kushner telling him that Ivanka told me how disappointed she is in him!

That all I’ll do next cycle, and with the wrong return address.

The flood of spam is intolerable - and the worst part is, whoever writes the spam expects you, a Trump supporter, to be REALLY stupid.

I had to kill a 20 year favorite email address. And somehow Trump and Hershel Walkers campaigns just found another of my email addresses and I am getting over a dozen emails a day now

And I bet you haven't had dinner with Donald yet, either. He was hoping you would click that link, but you screwed up.

Did you get the collectible Trump coin? Not even the signed Herschel Walker football?

Commie.

They are doing the exact same thing with email, slightly changing the source email address so filtering and blocking doesn’t work effectively.

The most infuriating thing is that when I complained to WinRed and begged them to contact the campaigns using their platform to remove me from their lists, they said it not their responsibility.

I counter that WinReds Terms of Service should include mandatory account suspension for refusal to honor unsub requests, but then their millionaire CEO would make less $.

Also I wasted hours doing WHOIS look ups and going through headers to find the email hosts, only a few of whom even bothered to reply back.

I am still getting a dozen + a day from Trump and Walker; I don’t know if the rest stopped because of complaints, finally honoring unsubs, or because the campaigns are over.

But I will NEVER donate online again, only by money order with out my home return address. These email campaign fundraising managers are FILTH, and if they got run over by a car tomorrow, IMHO there would be no great loss.

ScarletRed mentions texts so obviously talking about a phone. They tend to be more widely shared, less secure. I bought a MAGA hat in 2016 from donaldjtrump.com/store/ and I did start getting a bunch of emails but eventually the unsubscribe link took care of it.

Best I can say is grab a free email address from somewhere like protonmail or mailfence and use it strictly for the purpose.(hindsight I know) I have two main email addresses. One is for important stuff like paying online bills, family and friends etc and the other I use for junky stuff. I check that occasionally and do a mass delete.

“WHICH MEANS YOU HAVE NEVER DONATED TO ANY TRUMP CAMPAIGN BY ONE OF HIS WEBSITES.”

I can’t imagine donating money for politics via a website when a check helps keep you under the radar a bit. Just be sure your phone number isn’t on the check. Junk snail mail happens sometimes, but not as much as it did before internet banking and purchasing.

Small individual donations are indicators of support and willingness to vote for said candidate.
