Is there any Senator with enough balls to challenge the Turtle to a duel?

Sabers on the back lawn. Make Sushi out of Mitch.

We get the leadership we deserve, and we have been absent from the arena while the games continue.

If Edward Gibbon were alive today, he could write about the Fall of the American Empire as an on-the-scene news reporter, instead of an historian writing about the Fall of the Roman Empire.

Caligula once appointed his horse, Incitatus, to the Roman Senate. They were a dissolute bunch.

We are better they they were, because we are led by a turtle, Mitchitatus, who retains power from his shell.

Unless we start over, this will degrade until we are all truly tribal again.

It is no longer a Republic, as we could not keep it.

I hope somebody is there, when he’s on his deathbed, to remind him how much worse the country became under his “leadership”.

If he goes to the majority he loses his leverage with the addition of new Republican Senators.

GOP is the useless party…most MAGA candidates who lost were out spent three to one….Mitch would rather be in the minority than have MAGA senators.

I thought we just saw him take steps to make sure that Senators who would support Trump and not a traitor to China, would not be elected. No surprise, then.

Same old GOP story...

Having snatched defeat from victory in the 2022 elections, they will now allow the same surrender monkeys who led the 2022 defeat to lead them into another defeat in the 2024 elections...

There can be little doubt that most of the GOP are, in fact, the latest version of “The Americans”...
Hiding in plain sight, providing our communist rulers with more & more power...

It appears that even Ronald Reagan understated the danger when he prophesied 1000 years of darkest tyranny...
It looks as if it will last much longer...

With Republicans like we have in both houses of congress, who needs enemies...
Most of the communist gains have been with stumbling, incoherent, and crooked frontmen... Without the GOP of the last 20 years, they would have never succeeded in their total capture of the Untited States...

McConnell spent far more money on candidates this year than Trump. He bought their support.

Trump made a mistake to not spend the people’s war chest on the candidates that he endorsed. Rallies can only do so much. Several of them only got 10% of the money that they raised the few times Trump did collaborate on a fundraising email.

Herschel Walker was hurt by this as were other candidates Trump had endorsed.

Exactly...his time is short, way short.

Age alone says Mitch now has a short shelf life.

It is best to test a replacement when Republicans lack Senate control.

Probably correct - he only needs 25 votes.

If we can win the governor’s race in Kentucky next year perhaps he will decide it is time to pass the baton and retire.

You are correct. The fundraising numbers of many of our candidates were abysmal. A successful candidate cannot be dependent on PACs supporting them for their entire media war. Dems will fork out hundreds of millions from small donations but our base sits on their hands and keeps their wallets closed. We give the Democrats an enormous advantage every election cycle as of late.
