SEN. LUMMIS: DeSantis is leader of the Republican Party

Sen. Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.) on Monday declared that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, not former President Trump, is the leader of the Republican Party, signaling GOP support is shifting away from Trump in the wake of the 2022 midterm election.

Asked by a reporter for Politico whether she would endorse Trump, Lummis replied, “I don’t think that’s the right question.”

“I think the question is who is the current leader of the Republican Party. Oh, I know who it is: Ron DeSantis,” she said.

“I’m saying currently, Ron DeSantis is the leader of the Republican Party, whether he wants to be or not,” she explained.

Not sold on DeSantis. While his optics are enticing I want to know a lot more.

What is wrong with your brain unless your are trolling why would he run as an independent with 55%+ republican voter support for nomination? Freerepublic as been overtaken by Rinos who swallow media narrative hook line and sinker...there is no erosion of support for Trump GOP won house and kept senate close because of him.

The Republic has been dead since the 17th Amendment. The last true Conservative was Calvin Coolidge. The non-violent revolution happened in November 1932. The rest you can figure out.

Everyone here talks about election steals which could be real.

However they didn’t occur 50 years ago, why? Because the Republican Party is split. You have groups like Lincoln project (which I hate) but you also have many RINOs that have to be in on the steal. Example Ratffensperger (sp?) in Georgia who certified the election and swore it was honest in 2020.

So is the real problem Dems stealing elections or is it a civil war in the Republican Party? If it’s the later perhaps all we are to do is unify the party to stop the steals.

I’m not sure if Trump is that guy now.

He needs to run as a Democrat and take MAGA voters with him. That will be the nuclear bomb the American system needs detonated in its midst right now.

“Democrats have perfected the American voting system, so starting today I have decided to join them.”

We don’t need two corrupt parties - we just need a major media-disrupting platform for competing ideals.

The Dem victory is pretty much guaranteed.

The Dems own the voting apparatus in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Nevada. And Arizona. 4 states that are gone, gone, gone

And most likely Georgia. Kemp, et al had an opportunity to deal with mail in voting, etc, like Florida did. They didn’t. Now we have another senate runoff. Add to that the caravans of liberals that are moving into the state and it’s done in 2024. Only the blind can’t see that.

One thing I’m seeing through all of this, unless you have a government job, get a government, defined pension benefit or are loaded, you’re screwed. They’re going to destroy every industry they want.

Soon, Shapiro say s he’s going to go after the energy sector in his own state. He is intentionally going to put Pennsylvanian citizens out or work. And Pennsylvania is going to like it

How the hell are the trains and trucks going to move what little there is when there is no diesel?

Absolute insanity.

CNN was sold to John Malone within the last year and they are already making changes, slowly, but they are making changes.

You’ve just insulted our Lord and Savior. Why do so many think God was just joking when He gave us the Third Commandment?

Dems allowed DeSantis to win big in Florida which is how it should have been everywhere. But this was Dems way of offing Trump and pushing DeSantis. Dems probably have something on DeSantis which they will save till October of 2024.
