Republicans on Sunday picked up one of several seats that they’ll need to secure in order to gain a majority in the House of Representatives, which is still not guaranteed five days after the midterm elections were held.
Republican Lori Chavez-DeRemer bested Democrat Jamie McLeod-Skinner to take the House seat in Oregon’s 5th District.
The win gave Republicans 212 seats in the House, still short of a minimum majority of 218 with 19 races that have not been called yet. But Republicans are not home free, and still must win most of the races where they’re leading in order to take control of the House.

My crystal ball sputtered back to life briefly. It says 219 House seats for the GOP. But what does it know? A couple of weeks ago it forecast 240 GOP House seats. Stupid ball.

Garcia will be called (R, CA); as will Kiley (R, CA), as will Valadeo (R, CA) and Schweikert (R, Scottsdale AZ), Boebert will be called. They haven’t called yet. Then there are about four more CA seats where the Rs is leading or close.
Wasserman at the 538 says there are five contested seats (including Garcia, Kiley, Valadeo, Schweikert, but I don’t think he includes Boebert) and said Ds need to “run the table” on all five.
Nope. We got the House. Yertle and ballot harvesting got them the senate seats.

All the House district analytic sites all say 219-220 right now.
It’s not ideal, but it does take away Pelosi’s gavel.

I’ll take it. Been really down.
The click bait ads such as Time Magazine said here’s where the race for the House stands.
That makes it sound like the electorate is going back and forth to make up its mind until it votes.
But, if no one at Time noticed, the election is over. It’s now just the fraud and rigged vote counting.
It’s not a horse race to be run——it’s over.
In Iraq or Angola the election results would have been certified.

I click on House results about once per hour. The current count is R-221 and D-214.
Duarte has an 84-vote lead in California-13 with only 61% reporting. I assume this is a loss. The other close race is Arizona-6, where Ciscomani has a 1600-vote lead with 89% reporting. I'm nervous about Arizona, but this district is outside Maricopa and Pima, the state's most corrupt counties. All the other races look secure.
If both Duarte and Ciscomani lose, the final tally is 219-216. If one loses, it's 220-215.
The key, as you stated, is control of the House, even if it's only by one vote. Since all spending bills originate in the House, the Democrat-controlled Senate would be unable to use 51-vote reconciliation.

the finger.....Good meme.
Problem we don’t talk about is where all the elites of the GOP had their finger recently while the Dems stole the election again.

Can someone tell me about Alaska and Palin?
Her vote is split with another republican but the dim leader has 47 some odd percent. Is that going to their squirrely system where second choices are factored in?

It’s good to see this, as I have the feeling that many in blue states like Oregon and New York are getting that fed up with the Democrat brand and expressing it as such.
I’ve had the idea that Oregon in particular seems to be ripe for picking for some bigger trophies like the governorship or US Senate or Electoral College votes if one could break at least a couple of the blue walls there (Eugene and Bend and Salem) and make even inroads in Portland.

Republicans are going to lose this race, despite the two Republican candidates having more votes than the Democrat. Begich, who will finish third, will be removed from contention and his second place votes will go to the top two finishers. Palin needs about 85% of Begich's second place votes to advance past Peltola. The problem is that at least a third of these Begich ballots will not have a second or third place vote, so Palin will lose.
What we're learning about rank-choice voting is that it is absolutely crazy for a party to nominate more than one candidate for an office. If you nominate two or more, they will cannibalize each other.
Expect Alaskans to rescind rank-choice voting in 2024.

We are talking about the great reset here. Infiltrators are everywhere. And it seems the GOP is in on the voter steal. Even against there own party.
