Sen. Ron Johnson criticized top Senate Republicans Sunday in the wake of the party failing to retake control of the chamber and suggested the conference should elect different members to leadership posts.
The Wisconsin Republican, who narrowly won reelection against his Democratic challenger, blamed leadership for sowing “dysfunction” by failing to have a unified message and working with Democrats at times to pass bipartisan legislation.
“We need to do a real assessment of what went wrong. The last two years, we had … a number of our colleagues join Democrats spending like drunken sailors,” he said on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.” “That obviously was not a winning message or a winning agenda. That was a losing message, a losing agenda. And we need to discuss that internally. We need to have thorough discussions internally.”
Mr. Johnson is among a small but vocal chorus of GOP senators who want next week’s internal leadership elections to be delayed amid questions about whether Mitch McConnell, Kentucky Republican, should remain at the helm as GOP leader.

Johnson’s criticizing McConnell. Rubio criticized McConnell. But when is someone going to have the guts to actually run for leader against him? If McConnell’s the only choice, then he’s inevitably going to be chosen, and that would be disgusting under the circumstances.
Ya think? ROFLMAO! Apparently, the Democrat/RINO Uniparty's super-easy 2020 Stolen Election was not enough to convince Republican "leaders."
Not even stealing the 2020 Election with their senile Sleepy Joe puppet Manchurian Candidate (who hid in his basement during his Presidential "campaign," only rarely emerging to stumble through his handlers' teleprompter speeches in almost-empty parking lots) was enough to persuade Republican "leaders."
That was in 2020. And in 2022, the Democrat/RINO Uniparty easily putting a Lerch-like, black-hoodie-wearing, extreme-far-left Democrat politician (who can't even process human speech) into the U.S. Senate was also not enough to convince the Republican Party that it needs to some soul-searching. Don't worry, I guarantee we Republicans will have a Presidential candidate who will easily win back the Presidency in 2024 in yet another huge Republican "Red Tidal Wave" of overwhelming support, resulting in Republicans winning back the Executive & Legislative branches of government. No problem. Easy-peasy. I'll keep my rose-colored glasses on because of all the Democrat/RINO Uniparty victory glare ....... even the senile Sleepy Joe is back to smirking again, allegedly "thinking" to himself: "I've got another new Mandate from the American voters! This pResidenting stuff is much easier than I thought, even for an 80-something! ..."
Who nominated him to his office?
.
Okay, and Chris Christie and Lindsey recommended him.
However, Trump has been a private citizen for years and they still hold up Wray as a paragon of virtue, and send him more money than small countries own in total assets.
We are actually worse off since the Elected Republicans have led people to believe the notion that Republican Voters can’t protest or assemble, and it’s okay for Courts across the country to treat them totally differently.
.
That’s MY Senator! Saying what every conservative across the land is thinking!
On, Wisconsin! :)

Interesting Fact: President Trump endorsed Ron Johnson for Senate in April of 2021, nearly 17 months before RDS:
Trump endorses Ron Johnson early: 'Run, Ron, Run!'
"Republican Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin hasn't announced yet whether he'll run for reelection next year.
But that's not stopping former President Donald Trump from encouraging Johnson – a staunch Trump ally – to seek a third six-year term in the Senate.
"Even though he has not yet announced that he is running, and I certainly hope he does, I am giving my Complete and Total Endorsement to Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin," Trump wrote Thursday in a statement released by his Save America leadership PAC.
The former president praised Johnson, writing "He is brave, he is bold, he loves our Country, our Military, and our Vets. He will protect our Second Amendment, and everything else we stand for. It is the kind of courage we need in the U.S. Senate. He has no idea how popular he is. Run, Ron, Run!" -- FoxNews.com | Published April 8, 2021 | 2:03pm EDT
Put the Business Guys in charge. All others shuffle off to rear of the chamber with head bowed in shame and tail between your legs!
Maybe, maybe not. Bush Jr. and Mitt Romney were both MBAs. Not much sense from either of them.
Very true.
Blame yourselves for trotting out the same freaking garbage, congress after congress.
Amen
