Sen. Ron Johnson criticized top Senate Republicans Sunday in the wake of the party failing to retake control of the chamber and suggested the conference should elect different members to leadership posts.
The Wisconsin Republican, who narrowly won reelection against his Democratic challenger, blamed leadership for sowing “dysfunction” by failing to have a unified message and working with Democrats at times to pass bipartisan legislation.
“We need to do a real assessment of what went wrong. The last two years, we had … a number of our colleagues join Democrats spending like drunken sailors,” he said on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.” “That obviously was not a winning message or a winning agenda. That was a losing message, a losing agenda. And we need to discuss that internally. We need to have thorough discussions internally.”
Mr. Johnson is among a small but vocal chorus of GOP senators who want next week’s internal leadership elections to be delayed amid questions about whether Mitch McConnell, Kentucky Republican, should remain at the helm as GOP leader.

It starts with removing Mitch McConnell as Republican leader. He went out of his way to sabotage Republican chances.

Currently constituted Republican Party had to lie and Act.
They support Joe behind Closed Doors.
They voted to nominate Merrick Garland and absolutely love Christopher Wray.
Their model is managing the decline, same as the DNC. This will not change.
Interesting fact: DeSantis also endorsed Ron Johnson for Senate.
In the corporate world, heads would roll. The under-performing would be replaced. McCarthy and McConnell are part of the problem. Romney clan McRonna is part of the problem. McCainiacs are part of the problem.
We need new, bold leadership. The old board has to be replaced.
The GOP/RNC “leadership” (such as it is) have told all of US that they don’t care abut our concerns and we should just STFU and limit ourselves to keep sending them our money.
I say that WE must tell them to go pound sand and that WE will start a true America First Party. They can go play footsies with their RAT Bastard pals in the DNC. Their “services” are no longer required.
For the last 12 years Johnson has been part of the spending spree. Now he’s a convert?

Maybe Johnson could pay closer attention to a Trump rally. Weeding out Rinos would be a good starter. Sticking with Trump goals/policies would also be great. They need to remember that NOTHING Trump did hurt the country. Every blowhard who fought Trump tooth and tail needs to go.
They didn't nominate him; they confirmed him.
They also kept him off the Supreme Court.
