Trump is taking credit for the election victories of people like Marco Rubio and Kevin McCarthy, as if he had anything at all to do with their safe bet wins, while dismissing his handpicked turds that cost us the Senate, several statehouses, --and quite possibly the House after everything shakes out.

How do you count Trump's endorsement success? If he endorsed Republican candidates in, say, Texas or Oklahoma, that is a no brainer. He failed badly in Pennsylvania but overcoming the mail in fraud was probably impossible.

Trump lashing out at DeSantis and Youngkin us probably because he sees Conservatism, Inc., trying to topple him. The Murdoch interests, including Fox, National Review, etc., along with McConnell, Ryan, McCarthy, Graham, et.al.

There weren’t really alternatives to the endorsements...in most cases...the voters elected them...not Trump.
