Lindsay Graham sabotaged the midterm elections by presenting a ‘ban abortion’ bill which motivated unmarried women to vote dem. Mitch McConnell knowingly underfunded Trump endorsed candidates by 75%. Then blamed Trump for losses. DeSantis is possibly being pressured by proven Never Trump donors to run. This doesn’t mean DeSantis is not a good guy, he is just a politician. Trump cannot be bribed or extorted. Trump is a known asset in the hornets nest, DeSantis is not. Trump is the biggest threat to the deep state. The GOPe is backing DeSantis.
Go back and study your history. This situation today is nothing like the 1912 election. Teddy Roosevelt fully endorsed his anointed successor, William Howard Taft, assured he was elected, and left Washington in a big fanfare to go on Safari in Africa.
Several years later, for the next election, Teddy came back to Washington. He thought that Taft had ruined his legacy so he created a hapless third party which caused Wilson to win the 1912 election.
That is nothing like the Stolen Election of President Trump and the attempts to destroy him from every quarter for the past seven and a half years.
You cannot make up falsehoods from whole cloth.

Desantis will rightfully be seen as a spoiler by MAGA. Their response will not be kind to Desantis. In fact, it will kill any chance he has if he dreams to national office.
I like Desantis. I don’t think he’s stupid enough not to realize this.
But, the Never-Trumpers are praying that he is.
The answer is nobody could, or has come close to Trumps accomplishments.

I live in Florida. I am politically active at the state and local level. Desantis running against President Trump and MAGA will be a disaster. Desantis will not win Florida if he attempts that. Which he has stated several times that he will not. Again, recently. His camp recently reiterated that if President Trump runs in 2024 Desantis will not.
