Why would Trump spend any of his own money getting Republicans elected?
The article referred to Trump’s war chest. This money is from campaign donations and not Trump’s own money.
That’s what I keep asking. Just another blame Trump psyops and folks here fall for it left and right
I just read the article, and I think the criticism is that he didn’t spend enough of his PAC’s money, not his own personal money.
“In October, Trump dug into his massive $92 million war chest to send $20 million to an allied super PAC backing his endorsed Senate candidates he endorsed, Bloomberg News reported — a measly 22% of his accumulated funds.”
If he doesn't want Republicans elected why did he endorse so many?
His PAC did spend money on candidates.
He did. The rallies cost him about a million each.
This is the question I’ve asked many people and gotten no sensible answers. Who’s job was it anyways? Not Trump’s. He holds no office now. He had no obligation to do even a fraction of what he did. Oh, he should have spent more of his private money... yadda yadda. Whatever. We have a broken party with or without Trump. He’s just the magnifying glass.
He should have taken his salary during his 4 years, saved it, and given to Republican candidates.
Exactly.
