Millions of Britons have already felt a squeeze on their finances this year, but the cost of living crisis is set to deepen, with significant increases in energy bills, VAT, national insurance and more.
Here are some of our top tips and tricks to save some extra cash:
Rotate your streaming subscriptions:
If you’re paying for multiple streaming services, this is a good area to start looking to see if you can save some money.
Sell unwanted clothes and items:
There are a myriad of second-hand apps and websites that allow you to sell unwanted clothes, furniture, books and the odd lamp you don’t use anymore.
Get free (or very cheap) food:
Food banks have warned that the spiralling cost of living crisis has pushed more and more people to visit them, but supplies are running out at some food banks.
Get loyalty cards:
Make sure you get a loyalty reward card for any shop or store you go to frequently to maximise any discounts or deals they might offer.

Forget the Chef Boyardee…learn to make your own gravy. A couple quarts on the stove Saturday morning…and you can eat great all week!
But that would require spending five minutes planning and learning. We can’t have THAT!

I like “rotate your streaming services” instead of DUMP you streaming servoves. There are a ton freevstreaming services inckuding Pluto, Samsung and so many others.
Nothing about dumping purchased coffee and making it at home, which I did even when traveing.
They know the citizens are so dumb now they can’t figure out how to cut expenses by themselves. How helpful the govt is. How about building an economy that grows rather than shrinks?
Sell the kids and replace them with hens.
Rice and beans. Stop eating out. Cheap coffee. Only buy meat when it’s on sale, and put it in the freezer. Buy dented canned goods. Rice and flour in bulk.
Hold on to your hats, the Dem steal economy is on the way!

1. Stop rotting your brain and cancel all streaming services.
2. I have heard that the folks selling clothes on POSHMARK go to a Goodwill Store and buy clothes for five bucks and then sell those clothes for $50 on POSHMARK. Bypass POSHMARK middleman and go direct to Goodwill and buy clothes.
Biden tip: substitute ACME brand adult diapers instead of Depends!
At least I lived through peak prosperity.before returning to my parents’ economy when they were young. Their Depression and WWII rationing stories are ready for a repeat.

Learn how to cook from scratch if you don’t yet know. You can eat very healthy and it costs way less than buying prepared foods or eating out.

FDA regulations are better on dog food than human food - dog food is safer.
When grandma freezes to death because she couldn’t afford to heat her gas, celebrate her life by roasting her corpse over a fire made from your kitchen table. Not only will you save valuable cemetery space you will be saving money on much needed protein.
Don’t throw out that old paper. Mash it in to a paste and serve with grass clipping and mud. You will get much needed filler so your stomach pains aren’t so severe.
