Republicans Strike Out in New England
Breitbart ^ | 11/11/2022 | Ashley Oliver

National Republicans targeted more than half a dozen races in New England as pickup opportunities this year, but they picked up none.

Six congressional races, one Senate race, and one gubernatorial race all stayed Democrat despite Republicans’ financial investments, as well as polling and hype of a “red wave,” suggesting the GOP had a valid chance of winning them.

Can we just cut them loose and let them be their own country? We and they would be much happier.

“Liberty” doesn’t seem to sell well in New England.

Which is sad.

No skin off red states. They’re the ones who will be freezing this winter.

I’m going to enjoy our Yankee cousins freezing their asses this coming winter.
After all, they voted for this.

Long Island isn’t part of New England? GOP got all four of its House seats.

New England is where American political parties go to die. The Federalists and Whigs went there to die, and during the New Deal, Republicans holed up there.

Politics in New England aside...the polling that was pro-GOP
all throughout the year was way off in the end.

If Quebec were allowed to be its own country, there was talk that the eastern seaboard provinces would sue to become US states.

Maybe we should do the reverse and let Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, and even New Hampshire join Canada.

It’s time to send more illegals to New England so they share the joy of multiculturalism that they profess to love so much.

Three states, all constitutional carry, ultra low crime, four seasons, people help each other out, not what you would call diverse by any means - what’s not to like?

There was zero chance of a Republican winning anywhere in MA.

True, funny thing is, though, the divide in this country isn’t so much between states as it is between the big cities with their close-in suburbs and the surrounding outer suburbs and the countryside. Maybe we should turn all the big cities into self-governing city-states and let them sink alone. If they are nice, the rest of the country will sell them food. ;-)

>>Long Island isn’t part of New England?

No. And New York and New Jersey flipped 5 House districts to the GOP.

You just need competitive candidates like George Santos, who won NY-3.

In another post, I noted large differences between New York City and Philadelphia, where the Big Apple’s voters were less radical than those in Philly. You have to wonder if the what Biden described as the most effective vote cheating machine two years ago ignored New York, New Jersey, and California to focus on the same six states they flipped in 2020. As a result, the GOP made gains there that were not expected.

Hey, Maine’s Second Congressional District....80% of the state....is Trump country. He carried the Second Congressional District by 10 points in 2016 and by 7 points in 2020, earning one electoral vote each time.

Our RAT governor received a boat load of money from out of state. Former two term governor Paul LePage could not keep up with the financial onslaught from the out of state money. He was term limited in 2018.

Our GOP congressman lost his seat in 2018 because of rank choice voting, even though he received 2,200 MORE votes than his RAT challenger.

Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont have Constitutional Carry.
Isn’t it time a deep red state like Florida does the same?

P.S.: We don’t want to join craphole Canada. Maine has, per capita, one of the largest concentrations of veterans in the country.
