WASHINGTON — President Biden will host a 4 p.m. White House press conference Wednesday to discuss the results of the midterm elections after Democrats outperformed polling and expectations.
Biden would not commit to holding a traditional post-midterms presser earlier in the week, but the White House added one to the schedule Wednesday as it became clear expected big GOP gains in the House and Senate would not materialize.
It will be Biden’s third solo White House press conference and his first since January, when he spoke for nearly 2 hours, bucking staff cues to wrap the event earlier.
A press conference after the midterms offers a president the opportunity to describe his interpretation of voters’ decision and to outline how he will work with the incoming Congress.
It remains unclear if Republicans will retake the House — and if so, by how much — and control of the Senate hinges on the outcome of close races in Arizona, Georgia and Nevada.

We won the house - even NBC projects 222 seats.
We have a good shot at the Senate — up in Nevada; runoff for Georgia; Alaska we will win; won Wisconsin; Arizona has 400k votes to count and they’ve been going R so far.
if we win - by any margin - the House and Senate - that’s a win. Not a big win but big enough at this point.

Elko, Douglas and Nye are larger rurals and almost surely will add thousands of ballots to Laxalt’s total, make CCM’s climb more difficult.

Elko - About 1k mail ballots left to count
Douglas - Elx dept says they receive “thousands” of mail ballots yesterday.
Nye, Humboldt, Eureka and Churchill say they are still catching up, and expect to be done between Thurs and Sat.
Funny thing is we just flipped another house seat, this time in Iowa, just went from Dem to GOP, so while the blowhards are trashing Trump we are still winning races

LOL! Like it's been in the past, when Republicans held a slim majority in both Houses, and chose to "share power" with the Democrats? That's not a win, because they will do it again.
We haven’t secured the House and may still lose ground in the Senate.
