Incumbent Kansas Democrat Gov. Laura Kelly has secured a second term in an extremely close election against Republican challenger state Attorney General Derek Schmidt, NBC News projects.

Kansas has a democrat governor? Who knew?
She was re-elected. KS is going blue - my county and city are dark blue, and it’s getting worse. Such a shame.
HOW DO DEMOCRATS ALWAYHS MANAGE TO GET *JUST ENOUGH* VOTES TO WIN?
VOTE FRAUD
1) Kansas is a big agriculture state.
2) Big Ag requires a lot of Wetbacks.
3) Millions of illegal alien Wetbacks are imported through the southern border.
4) Wetbacks vote for the Rat.
5) Kansas becomes California
Same reason the abortion measure passed overwhelmingly back in August. Johnson County Karens teamed up with Wyandotte County blue collar Dems and this alliance carried Laura Kelly to a slim victory. Doesn’t help that Kelly has been bludgeoning Derek Schmidt with attack ads since June. Successfully tied him to Sam Brownback which caused the Karens to vote Dem.
Most of the blame can be directed at Brownback.
He almost bankrupted the state and was a complete failure as governor.
