Trump rips losing GOP candidate Don Bolduc after endorsing him

Former President Donald Trump tore into defeated New Hampshire GOP candidate Don Bolduc — whom he had endorsed for the Senate — for walking back his claim that the 2020 election was stolen.

“Don Bolduc was a very nice guy, but he lost tonight when he disavowed, after his big primary win, his long-standing stance on Election Fraud in the 2020 Presidential Primary,” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social on Tuesday.

“Had he stayed strong and true, he would have won, easily,” added the former commander-in-chief, who endorsed Bolduc late last week. “Lesson Learned!!”

“General Don Bolduc has run a great campaign to be the U.S. Senator from the beautiful State of New Hampshire,” Trump wrote in the endorsement

This is exactly what Ben Ferguson, a talk radio host, was talking about this morning.

Trump seems to endorse/hire candidates who personally support him. If that person says something he disagrees with Trump will often attack.

Bolduc was one example.

Newt Gingrich was able to pull off a stunning success in 1994 even while economic conditions were relatively good.

Now economic conditions are as grim as ever. We didn’t have much leadership outside of Trump (McCarthy is no Gingrich). R’s should have cleaned up but they didn’t. Trump’s most prominent candidates did not perform so well.

It may be time to move on.

Read an article that said ztrump poured &14 Million into this election. That’s not chump change

That's 14 million Trump spent out of 100 million in the bank.

He ran a fine campaign. Until he lost. Call me crazy, but I think there was a native Pennsylvanian out there somewhere who could’ve beaten Frankenstein. But Trump just had to nominate his rich buddy from Jersey.

This is the last thing we need right now, for whatever reason the Republicans underperformed and instead of blasting other Republicans he needs to help bring the party together as much as possible.

Trump needs to realize, it’s not about Trump, it’s about saving the country and fighting each other is not helpful

Anyone who stays home is also responsible for the democrat pick up.

Not voting does not absolve you of responsibility for the outcome.

After having lived in NYS for so many decades, you learn that sometimes you have to do the lesser of two evils vote and hold your nose when you pull the lever.

Sometimes there is no better choice in candidates. That’s just the way it is.

But staying home and not voting doesn’t make a point or “prove” anything, or send any kind of message other than that you just don’t care.

It is about the 2020 election which is symbolic of the fraud (saving the country) which is exactly about his race if not about him personally.

Again, I think it comes down to a mail in ballot strategy. You can check my history and I’m not just saying it to cope. I don’t care if the Repukes hold the Senate. Mitch will be working overtime to get Biden or the Rats re-elected. The type of people who the Repukes have in the Senate aren’t going to save the country. It is better to have a minority with a few screw you types who won’t play nicely. There is an outside chance that the Repukes will at least pretend to oppose Biden if they don’t have the power to do anything.

I never counted on winning the Senate, there were too many seats to defend. It’s the House that’s disappointing.

>>This is not helpful<<
What’s not helpful is Trump displaying party division when calling Ron DeSantis, Ron DeSanctimonious right before an election.

Great president, but damn, STFU already.

Trump‘s star has certainly faded. The Republicans had a very poor showing in this midterm compared to historical data.

I wonder if Trump will be a gracious loser or will he lash out on other Republicans?

I think rational people know how Donald “Howard Stern” Trump will behave.

2020 is over and done with, election integrity is certainly a major issue, but you can’t fix the issue if you can’t win elections.

The vast majority on FR might want to continue talking about 2020, but the public including many republicans have moved on, especially when they can’t afford electricity, gas or food, they aren’t thinking about 2020.

Who cares. If the house flips it’s good enough. They didn’t have a huge majority in 2018 but they impeached Trump. It comes down to whether or not the Repukes will actually use the power. They probably won’t.

Looks like the Never-Trump crowd is alive and well on FR.

Trump needs a cabinet and work with them now. If not he will continue to run alone and in our day in politics that only lasts so long. Reagan was effective cuz he had a team built over many years in California. Trump needs the same or his accomplishments which are many will just blow away.

I counted ballots last night in my small town in south central NH. These are not the exact numbers but roughly 1900 people are registered to vote in my town. 1500 turned out to vote yesterday. Close to 80% of the electorate. They turned out to vote for HASSAN. This was the largest percentage turnout in the towns history(according to the moderator).

We fill out paper ballots marked with a marker. We feed them into the machine and they drop into the box bottom. At 7pm the pools were closed. The moderator took the pile of paper ballots out of the machine and we sorted them.

I personally had 98 ballots. Most were either straight Rep or straight Dem. There were more Dem in my pile than Rep. The other thing I noticed were ballots where they voted for SUNUNU and then for HASSAN and KUSTER(NH2).

After that we(me and a partner) who was an 70 something Dem woman were given seven ballots that the machine could not read. Most were because of either being a mailed in folded ballot OR over votes. Over votes are when the person filling out the ballot votes for two candidates for the same office OR write INs. The team next to us had three write in votes for SATAN.

This process was overseen by the moderator. If we had a question what to do we asked him. Then we(my Partner and I) tallied the seven ballots and wrote them in a book.
Again, we had to agree on how many for each candidate.

That was it. Just over an hour. My wife and I both did this.
I think we were the only Republicans there(just an educated guess). However, both of us came away from the gym knowing that based on the DEM turnout in our small town, WE HAD LOST.

To the extent there is cheating, WE NEED TO CHEAT TOO. But Trump boasting about last night being great went too far. I was in pain watching what happened and Trump was happy?

When Democrats win, “We have a mandate.”
When Republicans win, “We will reach across the aisle.”

If part of the fraud is written into the machines’ software, it doesn’t matter. The results had nothing to do with demographics. The cheat is embedded in the machines and has been since 2018. This “Get out to vote” is insanity. We’re not going after the real problem because to do so makes you look like a conspiracy nut. They did this well. We’re looking for reason and ignoring the obvious
