Trump warns DeSantis against 2024 White House bid, saying it wouldn’t be ‘good’ for GOP
The Hill ^ | November 8, 2022 | BRETT SAMUELS

Former President Trump in a new interview warned Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) against running for president in 2024.

“I don’t know if he is running. I think if he runs, he could hurt himself very badly. I really believe he could hurt himself badly,” Trump told Fox News in an interview late Monday after a rally in Ohio. “I think he would be making a mistake. I think the base would not like it. I don’t think it would be good for the party.”

“Any of that stuff is not good. You have other people that possibly will run, I guess,” Trump added. “I don’t know if he runs. If he runs, he runs.”

The former president also suggested he knew unflattering information about DeSantis that he’d be willing to share if the two were to face off in a primary.

“I would tell you things about him that won’t be very flattering — I know more about him than anybody — other than, perhaps, his wife,” Trump said.

Stop with the TDS.

Trump is running in '24. Desantis will get crushed if he tries to go against Trump.

You will be voting for Trump in Nov. ‘24.

Get used to the idea.

Where else are you going to go?

Trump didn’t give a single penny to Mastriano.

Wait, what? Really? I thought he provided some funds?

Trump would take office in a four-year term at 78 years old. He would retire from the presidency at 82. And somehow that’s good for the GOP?

“We are in a sad state of affairs when someone like Fetterman is elected.”

I have to agree. Fetterman’s win is perhaps the most worrisome result last night. If, despite Biden/inflation/border/crime setting the stage for GOP wins everywhere, we could’t even beat the freakish, brain-dead creep that is Fetterman, our problems are very real. The left controls the narrative AND voting. It’s very, very hard to imagine Trump winning PA in 2024.

go elsewhere troll.
It would be a career ending move for DeSantis to run in 24.
DeSantis may still be the best VP pick for Trump.
God Bless President Trump

Nope. Not a penny.

In fact, Trump was secretly courting Jake Corman, the State Senate President Pro Tempore, who knee-capped Mastriano, fired his staff, and killed the audit in Pennsylvania.

Trump only endorsed Mastriano a week before the primary, after Corman dropped out (twice), and it became clear that Mastriano was going to win on his own. Trump literally jumped in front of Doug's parade and claimed credit for his hard-earned primary win.

Flashback:

Top Pa. Senate Republican Jake Corman bashed Doug Mastriano and committed to a new election probe

Top Pennsylvania Republican senator replaces Mastriano as leader of 'election integrity' plan

Pa. Sen. Mastriano barred from attending private Senate GOP meetings

Corman gets boost from top Trump advisor during Pittsburgh visit

Trump encourages Jake Corman to remain in the governor’s race – and so he is

Trump is sowing chaos in the Pennsylvania governor’s race

Inside the last-minute Trump endorsement that enraged Pa. Republicans

Not. A. Single. Penny.

So yeah, screw Trump and the golf cart he rode in on.

Yes he did. Sure Trump helped Desantis 4 years ago but Rush Limbaugh said 2 years ago that Desantis spent his campaign funds to help re-elect Trump. He (Trump put himself before anyone else).

The dichotomy thinking needs to end. Being against Trump does not mean you are pro-Cheney. There is a ton of room between those two spots.

Trump is an angry old man. They are the most dangerous creatures out there. He won’t go quietly. So the party will do little to stop the hyenas at DOJ from tearing at him.

You may wanna just take a break from this place for a couple of days and lay low.

The number of people here in the mood for you endlessly pimping Trump in ‘24 is rapidly diminishing.

Forever the cry for a king to save us, as though one man can change all of our Nation’s evil into good. He can’t.

The monday morning whimperers here are ONLY creating division.

The entrenched leftist government employees, corrupt judicial system, rigged elections in leftist cities, corrupt DC, CIA and FBI is a powerful machine and there is no “David” with five smooth stones, who can execute this evil monster.

The real battles are at the State level as states fight against this fedgov monster and refuse to comply with it’s demands. THIS is the front line of the true battle to save this Republic. At a lesser level, the farm team here is in local elections to incrementally gain sane, conservative, Constitutional States.

This recent nonsense cry of; “it’s this one man, or it’s that one man who will save us” is simply ignorant banter, because there IS NO ONE king who is able to will save us., except the King of kings and Lord of lords. PERIOD.

This current bruised feelings banter serves nothing but to divide conservatives and make us look like petulant little crybaby piss ants (YES, that’s a real kind of ant) whining because the “king” failed us.

Trump did more for us and scrificed more for this Nation than every poster on this board COMBINED, yet here you are whimpering in your morning fruit loops.

What did YOU do to build local candidates to support the farm teams which rise to change your State TO conservative? Nothing? ...then sit down and eat your soggy cereal and shut up.

Trump, when POTUS, did more for our cause than any preceeding man in the office in his attempt to crush the globalist march (and this IS an evil globalist attempt to take over our nation) upon us. Yet the piss ants are pouting.

FL loves our governor because he has stood in the stead and fought a great fight for our State and we Floridians want him RIGHT HERE. We, at local levels turned our state and counties red by working the farm teams. How much better that the cybabies get off their back side and change their own State to fight for themselves as we have!?!

( ((riiiinnngg)) ) CLUE PHONE...!
There is no king coming to save us and no king can, save the One true King and He isn’t running for office.

Grow up whiners!
...and get to work.

...THAT IS ALL
(for those in RioLinda, this means I will not banter with replies. I made my point here and “that is all”)

So you’ve posted an article from The Hill so the FR can hate on Trump. Whoopi! I think your hate is misplaced. Should be directed at our Republican leadership. McConnell showed he was against many of our candidates. He wanted to make sure he wasn’t voted out of his leadership position.

I don’t actually think any Republican candidate will win the presidency in 2024, Trump and DeSantis included.
