With a "red wave" expected to hit the midterm elections nationwide (cheating by Dems notwithstanding), Republicans are trying to get out the vote among their own voters, and convert as many independents and democrats as possible.
But this year, some unexpected people have already indicated they are abandoning corrupt Democrats and backing a different horse -- and liberals are not happy about it.
One key race is for Los Angeles mayor, and the candidates are: a black Democrat female, Congresswoman Karen Bass, and her opponent Rick Caruso -- a white male and lifelong Republican who only switched to the Democrats this year to oppose Bass.

Liberal Democrat Rep. Karen Bass and businessman Rick Caruso
Bass who has been endorsed by the entire Democrat party and most of Hollywood; Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama have raised cash for her.
Caruso has been bashed as a "Trumpian Republican" and liberals have even called supporters "racist" for not helping Bass become the first black female mayor of L.A. , and every celebrity in Hollywood has been pressured to support her.
But it's not working out that way.
Singer Katy Perry, not exactly a conservative, posted yesterday in Instagram that she voted for Caruso - a successful businessman - because "Los Angeles is a hot mess."
Her post triggered a lot of people...

It’s like a sewer flood has started to reach some of the upper floors of a building, and the people who live on them are finally paying attention. The penthouse dwellers still don’t understand what the fuss is all about. In the meanwhile, the suckers on the bottom floors have long since evacuated, or have been drowning in the muck.
Yawn, spitting in the ocean…RATS can create millions of fraudulent votes in minutes…
Good analogy.
A lot of them voting conservative will keep quiet but the vocal ones either don’t care or have plenty of FU money.
Katy Perry voting R really surprises me.
Rob Schneider has been conservation/libertarian for a long time now, it’s not a recent switch for him.
I see no reason to care whether they support Caruso or the silver surfer for mayor.
Caruso is not a republican.
Perfect analogy. I’m going to use it.
I will be curious about voting results in all U.S. cities, and how ‘22 compares with ‘20, with total voting numbers and how all GOP candidates in cities do, win or lose. Will more Leftist/RINO city voters end up staying home in ‘22 than in ‘20, and will it affect the final results, throughout all fifty states? All of the violence and all of the chaos, throughout so many U.S. cities, has to have a negative effect on Everything Leftist.
He switched parties this year to take on Bass in the primary. This is a runoff.
He runs on being a pro-abortion Democrat.
Left says he is pro-life...
I’ve seen and heard his commercial. He says he’s pro-abortion.
It’s an election plank.
He literally says in his commercials he is the only “pro-choice” Democrat running who can clean up homelessness.
Caruso sings opera right?
