Freespoke just launched a really good Midterm Election Portal. You can see voting information, breaking news, and real-time results from ALL sources - not just those picked by big tech. Definitely going to check this out this year

I just checked out my own ballot to see what races/questions I will be voting on.

Very cool!

Not to diminish this resource, but don’t most election offices provide sample ballots for all the races you will be voting on? Mine does.

Yes, mine was also in my local paper. But for tech or online people it’s more convenient to go to a website.

I’ll be checking out this site tomorrow night as results come in to see how its coverage is.

You would be surprised to know how many voters have no idea that they can go to their county government website and get all the information they need to vote, and to some degree, follow the counting.

I listened to event participants who were interviewed after it was over. Every single one was pumped and just awed that Trump stayed through the rain. His remaining while they were drenched and stayed to hear him was a visible icon of his support for his people, even through the rain. I was impressed.

We have a local one, wife has seen that her ballot has been received and counted. I just walked mine down to the collection box this morning. Small town, went Trump easily in 2020.

I looked at it. It’s going to be fine, but Free Republic is still my #1 go-to for election night coverage. Unfortunately I’m chairing a Zoom meeting from 7:00-7:30 PST, and can’t begin the celebratory cocktails until after that

To diminish this resource it does not include any of my local races. There are much more complete options.

https://ballotpedia.org/Sample_Ballot_Lookup

Had the local races too, but is still incomplete as in it did not identify which school board district or county commission districts I am in. It gave me all districts. It also does not show me the contentious issue we will be voting on (Property Taxes)
