TRUMP RALLIES IN FLORIDA FOR ‘MAGA WARRIORS,’ URGES VOTERS TO REELECT DESANTIS AND RUBIO

President Trump arrived in Miami, Florida, on Sunday afternoon, encouraging voters to get to the polls and reelect Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis alongside Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla.

“You’re going to reelect Ron DeSantis as your governor,” Trump told the energized crowd. He added, “And you’re going to elect an entire slate of MAGA warriors.”

Sunday’s Save America rally drummed up support for Rubio and the entire Trump Ticket in the Sunshine State and featured a lineup of popular conservative representatives and leaders like Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., and the Republican nominee for Florida’s 13th Congressional District, Anna Paulina Luna.

“We want America first – we want to Make America Great Again,” Trump continued, speaking to the core values of America First policies and candidates.

The crowd was fired up to see Trump speak, periodically breaking up the speech with chants of “WE LOVE YOU,” “and “FOUR MORE YEARS.”

“This is a community of people who lost their country…they saw what socialism and communism and Marxism can do….this community will fight to save it,” Rubio told the crowd in a brief comment joining the president onstage.

Trump also warned that America had “skipped over socialism” and gone straight to communism, with the Biden administration and the Justice Department silencing dissent from all angles.

Trump’s remarks came just two days before massively anticipated midterm elections across the nation on Tuesday.

Media is trying to play a game of “Let you and him fight”, with Trump and DeSantis. Don’t fall for it.

Not just the media.

This is a game being driven by Globalists and Establishment types in the GOP.

Yep. I guess Trump urging Floridians to re-elect Desantis today just proves he just needs to keep his mouth shut?? Right??

Lol.

The Globalist & Establishment types are trying to weaponized DeSantis to destroy cohesion of the base for their selfish ends.
Those people are RINO Machiavellian operatives, seeking only money & power with cynical disregard for the lives of Americans and the fate of America. Like the corporate raider Romney, they come with suitcases & leave when the carcass has been picked clean.

They couldn’t do it if Desanctimonius wasn’t open to it.

We can hypothesize but as events unfold hypotheses are tested. I will watch with interest & a jaundiced eye.

DeSantis could be playing them. Being in amour with Paul Ryan & McCarthy is certainly a very bad sign but may be only smoke.

The Donald just come out and say, “Look, your ‘real’ president was just having a little fun with Florida’s governor, whom I deeply admire. It’s okay if your ‘real’ president has a little fun once in a while, isn’t it?”

“baiting the media”

That’s one explanation. Trump could do worse than to give DeSantis something to push back against. Although he did float that trial balloon on saturday with the Desanctimonious remark. That didnt go over well so I’m thinking he backed off today.

He doesnt need any more opposition.

Rubio’s not a favorite around here, but he’s much better than any RAT candidate.

De Santis has been fighting back for three years now, thanks to Trump’s shutdown. De Santis wasn’t the first governor out of the box, but when he rejected the shutdown, he had to fight the Dem mayors, the RINO mayors (such as the mayor of Jacksonville), the teachers’ union, the medical industry and a host of other vested interests, not to mention a large Dem population, some of whom are still wearing masks.

I know Trump was tricked and scared into obeying Fauci by the wildly manipulated “data” given to him in briefings by Birx and even Pence (which Birx boasted in her book that they would then restore to the original numbers before publishing them), and that he’s a germaphobe, so that made him even more subject to their pressure. And by the time he realized this, it was too late...the press, the Deep State, and the Dems and their sympathizers already controlled the entire country.

Trump actually attacked some of the Governors who fought back earliest...Kemp and Abbott, although he ignored Noem, probably because the state has never been considered very important and nobody knew who she was.

The ad to which the DeSantis ad refers was a speech by a conservative speaker in the ‘70s, “And God Made a Farmer,” which praised the work and importance of working people, particularly farmers who feed us all. The DeSantis campaign used this as “God Made a Fighter,” meaning DeSantis, probably directed at the important agricultural sections of our state (North/Central Florida and the Panhandle) who would have known the phrase. And DeSantis has indeed been a fighter.

In all fairness to Trump, he was naive in the ways of government and never had good advisers, relying on his equally naive children.

However, my big complaint about Trump is that he never says the things about the Dems that he says about GOPers he perceives as rivals.

During his presidency, he never even used the power he had to deal with defiance and outright subversion. Milley should have been out of a job and on his way to Leavenworth for refusing to follow Trump’s orders to take him to the Capitol (among other Trump orders he refused), Pelosi should have been out of a job immediately upon tearing up the SOTU on live feed, etc. Instead Trump attacked Republicans he felt weren’t sufficiently adulatory.

I’m glad he “apologized” yesterday by encouraging voting for DeSantis and Rubio, but his remark about DeSantis went over like a lead balloon here in Florida.

Also, it called attention to his age, which I have never seen people mention much before. I have seen a lot of posts (from known and legitimate posters, both here and on Twitter) wondering if we want another geriatric administration.

One of the reasons Churchill, after all he had done, was finally out of the British government and coincidentally opened the door to hard-core Socialists was that he refused to admit that he simply wasn’t on top of things anymore.

Pick an heir and try to hand it over. And if you can’t, you’ve certainly worked your hardest during your time of power and you can sleep the sleep of the just.

You do know Churchill came back in 1950 and served as PM for five more years?

Apparently DeSantis isn’t a favorite around here either.

I hope President Trump realizes that given the chance, Rubio will challenge him in 2024.

Rubio would get 1% at the most if he tried.
