Yes....I went into the office, but just took my time. Sunshine and wind. Getting from car to inside and back again is fortunately only about 50 feet each way. WINDY!!
Ohhhhhh...at least she got to stretch her legs one last time before her winter slumber.
I don’t waannnnnaaaa turn back. LOL!
Good evening, Mayor, and thank you for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
A Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Hope you got some “me” time today.
Glad you didn’t have to walk TOO far between the car and the door. Too bad you had to get out at all, though, because it couldn’t have been pleasant.
How many ducks are showing up now. Are the numbers increasing quickly?
Howdy, luvie.
Aren’t you glad you missed out on the yeeha last night?
We’re glad that system calmed down before it got here but we’ve still had strong winds all day. It’s calmed down a little but still blustery.
Eielson AFB...now that’s JJ’s base up here. It is REALLY cold up there.
Glad you enjoyed the one tour you had...and you didn’t need shoes and socks for the day. LOL!
Hey there, radu!
I sure am glad that we didn’t get the weather that they did in NW Texas! It was scary. We had high winds most of the day because of the “cold” front that moved in. Actually, it DID get down to 39 degrees early this morning. I was shocked. LOL
Sounds like your weather is more like ours than what D/FW to Texarkana had. Hope it doesn’t get worse for you. Did you have fun at the museum this weekend?
Yes, he mentioned the cold up there several times. He had a lot of pix and short videos on his phone and showed me several of them. I didn’t have a sweater to throw on when I got chilled looking at them. LOL He had a few interesting stories to tell.
I only got the one tour this weekend but it sure was fun and interesting.
One more week to enjoy the flip flops, then it gets cold next weekend. :-(
TX, OK, and AR got hammered last night. I broke my rule of not turning on the computer on a weekend night and watched Ryan Hall’s stream for a while. Some of the tornados were monsters.
Wow! You got pretty chilly overnight. We aren’t expecting much cold over here so I guess the front is going to stall or just not dip down this far. Tomorrow we’ll be back in the upper 70s after having upper 60s today.
It was another weekend of most people going through the museum by themselves but I had fun with the one tour I got to do. I hope more people want tours next weekend since it’s the last weekend open this year. :-(
Keep the Lord’s Day in the Lord’s way.
A blessed Twenty-Second Sunday after Pentecost aka “All Saints’ Sunday (Western)/Twenty First Sunday after Pentecost (Orthodox) to all.
If you don’t “fall back” you’ll get to Church an hour early!
Love, love, love this! What a find! I’ll bet the guests will love it, too.
Yes, all three states were hammered for sure. It’s a wonder that more people weren’t badly injured or killed. I pray that the cities affected will rebuild quickly.
Well, that 38 degrees didn’t last long. It was back in the 70s today and almost 80 tomorrow. *sigh* Sounds like our temps are still similar. I looked a bit ago and we had the same...64 degrees. LOL!
I cannot believe that it’s already time to shut down the museum. It sure went by quickly in retrospect. What will you do with yourself for the rest of the year?
And a blessed Twenty-Second Sunday after Pentecost aka “All Saints’ Sunday (Western)/Twenty First Sunday after Pentecost (Orthodox).
Maybe 50 ducks tonight, but for the last couple days they haven’t been here in the morning...which is fine with me.
Howdy Ma, Radu,
Our weather is getting cooler. Low of 58 F.
I truly miss Alaska weather. It would prepare you for anything.
Hugz to both!
They found out about it last year and the owner lived only a few miles away. He bought it at Ft. Knox.
The visitors do enjoy it, especially since they can go up into it.
Gee, how I would love to have the chance to have you show me around there. it’s on my bucket list....along with seeing the aurora and going to Alaska and going back to Germany for a visit. LOL!
