California researchers with a non-profit organization sued President Joe Biden and the National Archives Wednesday, claiming that the federal government has illegally withheld the disclosure of documents related to the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
The Mary Ferrell Foundation (MFF), a Massachusetts-based corporation whose researchers live in California, aims “to bring accessible and interactive history to a new generation of critical thinkers.” As part of the foundation’s work, it maintains large digital archives of the Watergate scandal, and Kennedy’s assassination. The foundation’s namesake, Mary Ferrell, was a renowned historical researcher who specialized in the Kennedy assassination.
In the lawsuit, MFF says it maintains “the largest searchable electronic collection of materials related to the JFK assassination including Assassination Records, documents, government reports and online books totaling nearly two million pages,” and that as a result of the extensive nature of its collection, the MFF is the g0-to source for historical records within its subject matter.
MFF, together with researchers Josiah Thompson and Gary Aguilar, filed a lawsuit in federal court in California. The plaintiffs seeking declaratory relief and injunctive relief, as well as a writ of mandamus to compel Biden and the National Archives and Records Administration (“NARA”) to fulfill their duties under the John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act of 1992 (the “JFK Records Act”).
The lawsuit claims that the federal government has withheld and unnecessarily redacted records concerning Kennedy’s assassination in contravention of the JFK Records Act.

Oswald was a Patsy.
But I believe we know who the real perpetrator was ... The Smoking Man.
because it was an inside job
I saw somewhere the other week that the Zapruder film showed that the SS Agent driving the car fired the kill shot...
I have yet to see it.
That does make more sense due to the back upper right side and rear of the skull/brain going backwards.
“Josiah Thompson” is mentioned as one of the plaintiffs.
He wrote an excellent book on the JFK Assassination “Six Seconds in Dallas”—nailed it way back in 1967.
The “sources and methods” that are “top secret” are that the CIA assassinated presidents when they felt it was necessary—abroad and at home—in this case with the cooperation and protection of LBJ.
That one has been pretty well debunked.
A better theory that gained some traction in recent years, is a secret service agent had a negligent discharge. You’ve probably seen the series of now iconic B&W images from AP photographer James Altgens, one of them of an M16 wielding secret service agent standing up in one of the cars in the motorcade. The story goes, the M16 was brand new at the time and only recently fielded.
When Oswald fired his shots, the motorcade sped up or slowed down, anyway the agent lost his footing and had his finger on the trigger. One in a million shot.
While it seems implausible, stranger things have happened in history, and it also neatly explains a great many of the following actions that day that are otherwise difficult to understand, and also in the days (and years) following. It required a lot of coverups.
Two off the top of my h... wait. Two that come to mind is the insistence of the removal of the President’s body from Parkland, and also why Oswald could never, ever be allowed to testify.
One thing that struck me, was Congressman Yarborough, a combat veteran immediately that day reported in an interview the strong unmistakable odor of gunpowder “all the way to Parkland” or somesuch. Shots fired from the Texas School book building, at the sixth floor level, wouldn’t have that.
Oswald did not fire any shots at JFK—and recently released archive documents (the last data dump) prove it.
When the shots were fired he was on the second floor of the School Book Depository—he was getting change for a dollar so he could get a soda from the break room.
As his coworker handed him the change they both heard “bang bang bang” out the window.
Oswald went to the break room, bought his soda, sat down and drank it—and that is exactly where he was found when a policeman entered the building.
Her testimony was hidden by the Warren Commission but is in recently released archives.
So does this mean Oswald never mail ordered the Mannlicher - Carcano carbine?
Had a old old buddy that had bought a surplus Mauser and a box of ammo . He threw it in his trunk planning on going to the range that day ..... he was working a block away from the plaza on that awful day.
He said he took the bus for a week versus get into his car with the stuff in the trunk...... :o)
We referred to him as the “man on the grassy knoll” ............... we even made him a t-shirt !!!!
Oh wow
I’m no fan of JFK as the years go by but I found it very odd that GHWB couldn’t recall where he was that day.
I know where I was during the first Moon landing.
I know where I was when I saw Reagan step out of the limo across the street in 1976.
I know where I was when Challenger blew up.
I know where I was when 9/11 was happening.
[Rich Man’s Trick]
I had never heard of this before now
As someone mentioned, it is a very long documentary.
I believe I initially viewed it in multiple installments by necessity. I think it is quite insightful and compelling.
