Liz Cheney attacked Rep. Greene for opposing Biden and US involvement in Ukraine.
Today, this was Rep. Greene’s response:
“Your father lied our country into a war with Iraq.
“Over $3,000,000,000,000 in taxpayer funds were wasted.
“And tragically over 4,500 American soldiers never came back home.
“This isn’t a game. American lives and livelihoods are on the line.
“War = bad”

Saddam’s own generals thought they would be using gas and their divisions were outfitted with chemical suits. The generals were waiting for the call to don their suits and then defeat the Americans. The call never came.
Again, not supporting what was done.
They were live chemical weapons, active.
They were perfectly usable.
I have friends, that were there and destroyed them.
That’s hitting with a balled fist! Way to go, Margerie.
Look at the noob democrat spread its wings. F Off.
Saddam himself wanted the world to believe this. He had used chemical weapons against his own people. He had used chemical weapons against Iran in the Iraq-Iran war. Substantial stockpiles of chemical weapons had been located, seized and destroyed by coalition forces after the First Gulf War. Possession and use of chemical weapons made Saddam the meanest dog in a bad neighborhood. He wanted to retain the distinction.
(Iran didn’t use chemical weapons in response. For its part, Iran used human wave attacks of children to clear minefields. I know a now middle-aged immigrant from Iran whose mother fled with him to the U.S. at that time because he was about to be honored by being drafted into martyrdom. I’m not sure of his age, but he might have been about ten. His father thought a holy warrior and martyr in the family would be a great thing. He stayed in Iran. The mother thought differently. The upside is that this fellow was permanently cured of Islam.)
The question was never whether Saddam had had weapons of mass destruction. The questions were whether the inspectors had found them all, and whether Saddam had retained a clandestine manufacturing capability or, at a minimum, had everything he need for a rapid restart so that he could be back in the business in days or weeks.
Saddam had spent the eight years of the Clinton administration lying about basically everything, obstructing the inspectors and eventually throwing them out of the country.
The entire world had perfectly good reason to believe Saddam was maintaining a WMD capability. All of which the democrats want people to forget so that they can maintain a blood libel against George Bush and Dick Cheney.
Hell needs deeper circles and hotter fires.

I couldn’t agree more.
Now, instead of being its arch enemy, Iraq is a vassal of the largest sponsor on international terrorism.
Invading Iraq was an unqualified disaster.
You are leaving out the politicization of the IC and DOJ during the Obama years. The people in the top roles at the time of 9/11 and the subsequent decisions on Afghanistan and Iraq were not the same people involved in the soft coup against Donald Trump.
I am sure the IC had its issues in 2000. But the weaponization of DOJ, the FBI and the IC, at senior leadership levels, as tools of the Obama administration was a new thing. This happened in other agencies as well, including some that are essentially non-political. Obama politicized the civil service to a degree not seen before.
By the way, I don't believe that any of the senior people at the FBI, in DOJ or in the IC who participated in the anti-Trump conspiracy actually believed that Trump was a Russian operative. They knew better. They were lying through their teeth the whole way, and they continue to do so today, because they had sold out to Hillary and were acting as hatchet men. They thought they could get away with it.
I’m referring to people — namely, the enormous bucket full of establishment GOP @ssholes (many of them from one or both Bush administrations) — who had nothing to do with Obama’s politicized bureaucracy.
There’s just no winning when you hit an Islamic tarbaby.
As Tucker said, they were not enough to justify the war.
I’m not justifying the war, just saying that they had thousands of chemical weapons that they promised to get rid of, after the first Gulf War, plus the nuke program in Libya.
The people behind the war never said that they found WMDs.
I am not here to argue about the war.
The fact is that thousands of banned chemical weapons were found and destroyed.
Remember those injured from the burn pits?
Even the NY Slimes had a story.
Yes your are, because that is what the war was based on. If the people behind the war never said WMDs were found, then that intelligence was wrong or they lied. The WMDs that Bush and Cheney said he had weren’t found or active.
Goodbye.
