At least 13 people died after a fire broke out in a busy nightclub in the Russian city of Kostroma, officials said on Saturday.
Kostroma is a city of around 270,000 people, 300 km (190 miles) north-east of Moscow on the banks of the river Volga.
The fire took place in the early hours of the morning at Polygon, a multi-purpose recreation venue used as a cafe, nightclub and bar. Rescuers said 250 people were evacuated from the building.

Agree. I have never seen such viciousness from any group as I have seen from the Ukrainian-supporting neocons (or leftist trolls) on FR. And I’ve been here 20 years.
I actually dropped my monthly donation because I couldn’t take it.
I notice FR is having trouble raising funds this year, and I wonder how much has to do with the fact that the mods may not be screening out pro-Ukrainian attack bots. I have seen the same posts on several different threads.
Some of us are not entirely pro Ukrainian as much as we are anti Russian invaders.
Prior to 2014 my interest in Ukrainians and Russians was limited to hearing them sing in church...which is amazing!

I think the big problem is the viciousness of the attacks by FR Ukraine supporters on people who simply think the Ukraine (the word means border, btw) is not worth billions of dollars and potentially thousands of deaths to us, and should be resolved some other way.
I wouldn’t mind rational disagreement, but they were vicious. It was like the attacks of the Covidians (of which we had some here) on people who asked questions about the vaccines and lockdowns, etc.
That’s why I thought there were a lot of Dem bots on here, spamming threads with insults.
You are not alone in withholding donations until the Ukraine bots and trolls are zotted.
I guess my perception of the Putin supporters is about the same. I’ve been called a Nazi, homo supporter, moron, troll, neo-con, bitch, war monger, blood thirsty, and I’ve had some worse things said to me in email and on a Bible site where someone found me and wrote obscenities about me before getting banned.
All because I oppose Russia’s war to steal someone else’s country.
