I really don’t mean any offense, but Cruz is popular with constitutionalist, original intent conservatives like me because he consistently works against government overreach, fights for individual liberty, and takes political risks to defend core constitutional principles.
He is absolutely, without question, the most Reaganesque candidate we have seen in recent decades, alas, he lacks Reagan’s showmanship and general appeal.
No offense taken, and I meant no offense to you. Your argument is genuine. I grow tired of the majority of politicians, and supporters hide behind the Read Meat, and not deliver. What I do like about Trump is his Reaganesque appeal. The fight with no fear.

I live in Florida. Am very active in Florida politics. I have been stating for at least 18 months that Desantis will never challenge President Trump in 2024. Took lots of heat for this by the TDS faction here on FreeRepublic.
TDS is ever-present within the Pubbie party. Most are RINO’s pretending to be Conservative. But, there are also, meek handwringers who just don’t like President Trumps in-your-face combative style.
