Twitter has had a massive drop in revenue, due to activist groups pressuring advertisers

Twitter has had a massive drop in revenue, due to activist groups pressuring advertisers, even though nothing has changed with content moderation and we did everything we could to appease the activists.

Extremely messed up! They’re trying to destroy free speech in America.

Given enough time, Musk will figure it out on how to make a profit.

Just mass report her tweets. I’m sure Elon wouldn’t mind giving her a short ban.

Well, with such a massive drop in revenue, there's only one thing to do; lower expenses.

Lay off half the workforce....

So, the Left believes in capitalism when it suits their agenda.

"You're right, I did lose a million dollars last year.
I expect to lose a million dollars this year.
I expect to lose a million dollars next year.

You know, Mr. Thatcher, at the rate of a million dollars a year, I'll have to close this place in...about 60 years."

The answer is to charge a monthly fee to those using the platform (or an annual fee). That takes advertisers out of the equation.

The Twitter user base will likely shrink dramatically but it will be profitable and establish a recurring revenue stream.

so far today my favorite meme of the day is this one

https://twitter.com/NautPoso/status/1588238062815178752

I kind of wonder if the $20 charge idea was just a psych thing where you know you are going to charge a much smaller amount but get people worked up about the higher amount so $8 seems more acceptable.

Of course, Libs are going to be worked up no matter the price.

But one interesting thing came out of it...AOC flat out lied about her Shirts.

Well Mr Musk. Perhaps the real problem is that people who were deleted from Twatter are not coming back. Especially when you kiss the ring of the ADL and proclaim moderation is the same.
Your leftist twats are always peevish if they don’t get their way.

Good luck Musk, you just bought a lemon.

List the advertisers who have stopped their spend. These are companies that should never be patronized. Your money to them is essentially funding for tyranny.

Saw someplace that the Cheerios folks are “rethinking” where they want to spend their advertising dollars. Bye bitches! Maybe musk can make Twitter like FR. 😎👍

Hmmm....... Being a Free Republic poster and not a billionaire world class entrepreneur, your vision is clouded by the past. You can’t see the Twitter future planned.

Not necessarily. While I really don’t think he can get his 44 billion back from Twitter there are other benefits that he might make money on...like the massive database.

It might help in ways I know not of...

Plus, he is going to be able to access the collusion details.
