Every election has its holdouts who predict polling and conventional wisdom leading up to the big vote is way off. This year, the optimism caucus has to work overtime for Democrats.
With less than a week to go until Election Day, most Democrats are bracing for potentially huge defeats — including losing one or both chambers of Congress — but some in the party aren’t willing to concede anything just yet.
“I don’t believe the GOP is headed for any kind of a wave,” said Angelo Cocchiaro, a Democratic Party activist based in Virginia. “The polls show tight races nationwide. I’m expecting Dems [to] pick up a few seats in the Senate, and in the House,” he added. “A historically close result.”

liberal sites wont even let you post any poll that doesn’t show them winning... so yeah.. their heads are in the sand and deserve the shock they are about to receive.

Patrick Basham (Dem Pollster/strategist, who predicted Trump victory and others), says it is between a Red Wave and a Red Tsunami.. he says R’s will get around 255 seats in the house, but could go higher.

My prediction is there will be at least a few seats expected to go GOP as part of a wave/tsunami that will end up DEM.
Hollywood and elitist PACs have plowed millions into Dem campaigns, so they are reluctant to admit defeat.

We need enough to neuter the likes of my congress critter Brian Fitzpatrick. I take glee in walking to the Republican table outside my polling place and asking: “How do I vote for every Republican except Brian Fitzpatrick?”.
We need a big enough majority to take all power away from the RINO’s.

Democrats are probably right. Most of the polls are absolute garbage. It’s just that they don’t fully know how ugly it is going to be for them on Tuesday night. They are going to get a democracy suppository.

I hope with all my heart Dems are massively defeated everywhere across the country, even in so-called Dem strongholds, but I have trouble being optimistic.
Most polls are wrong, but usually show less Republican support then what shows up on election.
So the results will be even worse for Dems than the worst polls!
Polling is a settled science. These people are science deniers.
Well the polls are wrong... very wrong... just not in the direction he’s hoping them to be....
They are wrong — they are underestimating the chances of Republicans.
