Liz Cheney Slams McCarthy’s ‘Disgraceful’ Pledge to Reconsider Ukraine Aid

Republican Representative Liz Cheney slammed House minority leader Kevin McCarthy for signaling support for slashing aid to Ukraine in the event of a GOP midterm sweep, and former vice president Mike Pence decried GOP “Putin apologists” who have sympathized with Russia even as it invades a sovereign nation.

“I don’t know that I can say I was surprised, but I think it’s really disgraceful that today Minority Leader McCarthy suggested that if the Republicans get the majority back that we will not continue to provide support for the Ukrainians,” Cheney said at a Harvard Kennedy School event Tuesday.

Our republic is $30 trillion in debt.

Our republic is being invaded across its southern border by 3 million illegal migrants per year who are being resettled across the nation at a cost to the taxpayers of billions of dollars.

Drug cartels and human traffickers are earning hundreds of millions, if not billions of dollars moving drugs and human beings across the undefended southern border of the nation. American citizens are dying as a result of the drug smuggling and criminal activity.

The first responsibility of any government is to protect the citizens of the country outside invasion and criminal activity from within. The federal government today is failing in protecting the citizens of our nation from external invasion and internal criminal activity.

It is negligent to spend a dime on Ukraine while the United States is under invasion and its citizens are under daily attack by criminal elements operating across the border with impunity.

The nations of Europe have an economy the size of the United States. The invasion of Russia by Ukraine is a European problem, not a US problem. Let the Europeans provide for their own defense and deal with Russia if they perceive the invasion of Ukraine to be a serious issue. There is no justification for the United States to be funding the defense of Ukraine when Germany, France, the UK, Italy, Spain, Poland, and the other countries of Europe have the means to do so if it is important to them.

Bring our troops home from foreign outposts and put them on the border with orders to repel the invasion of the homeland. What good is a military if it isn’t used when the homeland is being invaded?

War war war what is wrong with this miserable wastes of oxygen that they want war? I’d like to see Cheney publicly executed for treason, but I guess I’ll have to settle for not having to hear her anymore.

By the time this is over, there will be a “regime change” in every country that supported this disastrous and suicidal war.

The West has destroyed itself, trying to destroy Russia, like the mad Captain Ahab obsessed in his quest to kill Moby Dick, the White Whale.

I believe Ukraine will end up being a ghost of a country if it even still exists at all.

It is ironic Russia has a better sense of its past and future than its sworn enemies.

This stupid war went from hatred of Putin all the way to hatred of all Russians, their culture and history.

Such animosity has brought Russians together in a firm commitment to win this war against them or to die fighting.

As Sun-tzu correctly saw, the victor in war is the one who both intimately knows himself and correctly knows his enemy.

The West also does not realize another truth from Sun-tzu. If you give your enemy no place to retreat, each warrior will fight with the fury of 100 warriors.

Russia is committed, united, well armed and cannot retreat from its location or its history and culture.

For these reasons, Russia will prevail against an increasingly divided enemy - the West.

Right, because even questioning whether some nation on the other side of the planet is entitled to billions in aid from US taxpayers is disgraceful. Glad Liz Cheney decided this for all of us.

Disgusting war monger Cheney family. Liz wants to add to the already ugly bigly national debt to prop up the most corrupt country in Western world. Hunter was paid millions by Ukraine for his “expertise” in energy! All you need to know about Ukraine.

While he is reconsidering Ukraine, he should also reconsider NATO and its socialist, LGBT, and anti-free speech leadership.

Corrupt and incompetent Russia will collapse. Again. You can set your watch to their failures. The only thing that was keeping Putin’s Russia afloat was the gusher of Soros EU cash. That’s gone now. Too bad. So sad.

Actually, the entire article is Fake News nonsense. McCarthy never said such a thing. It’s just Lizard spewing about a strawman. Plan on seeing a lot more of it since she’s got a Fake News platform.
