Megyn Kelly isn’t buying the San Francisco Police Department’s version of events as it investigates the assault on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband.
“I know enough to smell a rat,” the former Fox News and NBC star said during her podcast on Monday.
During an interview with Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) on her SiriusXM podcast on Monday, Kelly blasted any notion that the attack on Paul Pelosi, 82, was politically motivated, pointing out that the suspect, David DePape, 42, is a “lunatic.”
“I feel like at a minimum, the SFPD has egg on its face because even under the most generous story to Paul Pelosi and to the San Francisco police, they were in the house when this guy attacked Paul Pelosi with a hammer,” Kelly said.
“I’m not sure how that happened,” the former Fox News primetime star continued. “How do you have police officers on site and an 82-year-old gets attacked with a hammer in front of you when you have a gun as a police officer?”
Kelly added: “It’s one of the many questions here. As you point out, there are security cameras all over that house. You can see them from the outside where they turned on.”
“If not, why not? She’s the speaker of the House.”
Kelly noted that “far less known public figures than Nancy Pelosi have taken extra security measures in and around San Francisco, given how high the crime rate is there, it would be insane for them not to have their cameras on.”
She agreed with Cotton’s call for the police to release bodycam footage of officers’ arrival at the home.

The cops were sitting there watching a couple of drunk homos try to sort things out....probably having a good laugh...until it was hammer time.
Forget the gay stuff for a moment.
View it as a home invasion:
1- Unclear how he got in. Unclear how he got there.
2- Unclear where Pelosi was inside.
3- Unclear why alarm system failed to activate.
4- Unclear who opened the door for police.
5- Unclear if Pelosi was alone in the house.

The most innocent and generous reading of the shifting statements is -‘
there likely was more than one Illegal Immigrant in the house.
They get a pained look on their face and freeze when they comment on who let the Police in.
There would be motion detectors with alarms even before Depape got to the door. They were all turned off it seems...very likely.
Story stinks.......CYA ALL THE WAY.

But, they don’t set their 100k plus security systems?

Same goes for “opens up” and “claps back” or “rocks” when someone is wearing something.

Taking out ties from his pocket in his underwear?? Rather a bit much.
Something smells rotten about this.
And the cops stood by and "observed" this?
And why have there been zero medical updates from the hospital where Pelosi had fractured skull surgery.
At the very least a written statement from the medical team ??

The real problem here is that the NEWEST story does not match the original police reports from the first responders.
