Megyn Kelly isn’t buying the San Francisco Police Department’s version of events as it investigates the assault on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband.
“I know enough to smell a rat,” the former Fox News and NBC star said during her podcast on Monday.
During an interview with Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) on her SiriusXM podcast on Monday, Kelly blasted any notion that the attack on Paul Pelosi, 82, was politically motivated, pointing out that the suspect, David DePape, 42, is a “lunatic.”
“I feel like at a minimum, the SFPD has egg on its face because even under the most generous story to Paul Pelosi and to the San Francisco police, they were in the house when this guy attacked Paul Pelosi with a hammer,” Kelly said.
“I’m not sure how that happened,” the former Fox News primetime star continued. “How do you have police officers on site and an 82-year-old gets attacked with a hammer in front of you when you have a gun as a police officer?”
Kelly added: “It’s one of the many questions here. As you point out, there are security cameras all over that house. You can see them from the outside where they turned on.”
“If not, why not? She’s the speaker of the House.”
Kelly noted that “far less known public figures than Nancy Pelosi have taken extra security measures in and around San Francisco, given how high the crime rate is there, it would be insane for them not to have their cameras on.”
She agreed with Cotton’s call for the police to release bodycam footage of officers’ arrival at the home.
“Let’s see it,” Kelly said. “Let’s see it all. I don’t know what went on. I know enough to smell a rat. There’s something going on here that they’re not

You misspelled "dildo"
I agree with Megyn on this. Lots of details missing here and the cover up continues.
I thought a special team of DC police was dispatched months ago to protect Pelosi’s home. Where were they while all of this was going on? For being someone who is supposedly worried about the rising threat of right-wing violence, Pelosi’s house was curiously unprotected. Hmmmm, kind of like the Capitol on January 6th. Do I detect a pattern?

Why didn’t PP use a non lethal spray deterrent in his home for protection unless he knew what was going on and trying to avoid being sued or publicly exposed.
“Double plus guud!”
We’ve gone back in time to ‘1984’.

‘If a glass smashed (previously), an alarm went off!’ Nancy Pelosi’s former neighbor questions why invasion triggered no warning as she recalls fleets of SUVs at the mansion 24/7, window alarms and even her computers scrambled by Speaker’s monitoring devices

Nancy Pelosi’s former neighbor is questioning why a violent home invasion triggered no alarms – as security experts condemn the apparent ease with which David DePape broke in, and predict federal protections will be extended to her family.
Residents of tony Broadway Street in San Francisco are used to fleets of black SUVs surrounding the Speaker’s red brick mansion 24/7, a heavy police response to any disturbances, and even their computers getting scrambled by alleged security measures to protect the nation’s Number Three.
So when Marjorie Campbell read that her old neighbor had to call 911 himself while negotiating with a hammer-wielding madman, she was deeply perplexed.
‘There were black cars outside that house, particularly up on Normandie Terrace, all of the time,’ the 66-year-old, who lived opposite the Pelosis for a decade, told DailyMail.com.
‘I don’t distinguish between her being there and not being there. There were always multiple cars.’
Police statements and the criminal complaint against David DePape, 42, released Monday suggest that he broke in by smashing a back patio door. He confronted Paul Pelosi Sr., who phoned police and tried to talk down the crazed man. When cops burst in, DePape slugged Pelosi Sr. with a hammer.
‘Everybody in the neighborhood had alarms on our windows,’ the former neighbor said. ‘So if glass smashed, an alarm went off. We all had alarms that had chimed if the door opened or closed.’

Like Michael Jackson, they run around with one glove and sing “Beat It!”
In San Francisco they have more than egg on their face.
Nothing to see here folks!
Police say there were no other people in the house besides Pelosi and the burglar!
So, burglar lets Pelosi open the door for the police. Pelosi doesn’t step outside and point out the burglar, but instead runs back and starts struggling with the burglar.
OR,
The burglar opens the door for the police (we know burglars always answer the door when police knock). After opening the door, the burglar then runs back and starts hitting Pelosi with his hammer.
How could anyone question what we’re being told?

Probably the most truthful statement yet. Hahahaha
She seems to be turning into a nut. None of what she says makes sense. A lunatic broke into a house. What’s so difficult to understand about that?
Why's all the glass on the outside if it was a "break-IN"?
My mom had a security system that notified the security company if there was a break-in, and my sister has the same feature. The wealthy, high-profile Pelosi’s don’t even have that, or had it turned off?
Did Nancy Pelosi Keep Classified Documents At Her San Francisco Home?
Is Biden planning to “raid” the Pelosi home.....smirk?
Gee, imagine THIS !!
And here we are told that ongoing vile language towards the Honorable Speaker was the cause of Paulie’s problems?
And all that time not one security car/guard was assigned there
Gee. Such negligence
If there ever was a perfect situation to use a double negative appropriately in a post, I think that was it!
