I’ve heard that Ronald Reagan once asked “Where’s Nancy?” I think there should be an FBI investigation into this rumor.

Police should get grenade launcher and launch one to the roof. That would solve the problem.

I’m sure extra LEOs are welcome, but what Federal crimes are alleged to have been committed?

Irrelevant

It’s the race and MAGA nature of the alleged shooter that matters

I ran across some of the first amendment auditors awhile back on youtube and other places and have watched a number of their videos. Many of their videos are disturbing because the police simply don’t know the Constitution, the laws and/or they simply don’t care. Way too many are older officers that have been abusing their authority for years or they are young roided out cops like to bust heads. Either way the number of times they abuse people’s rights is disturbing.

The same goes for government employees working in public buildings, they think they can do whatever they want. If they want to throw a member of the public out for recording in public spaces they try to do so or they call the police.

The good thing about the first amendment auditors is that some of them are actually educating the police and public employees. They also point out good policing and good public servants. It is also now obvious that police worn body cameras are a very good idea. The bad thing is that there may be some hotheads/mental types who see the abuse by the police and may want to hurt them.

It does not help that now even in small towns the police are outfitted in military style gear. Their basic way of dressing is meant to be intimidating and it seems to me that this also brings with it a psychology such that it makes them more aggressive because they are basically kitted out for war.

On top of all of this is the fact that in many cities that have the damn Soros DA’s etc. is that the police catch the actual bad guys, and they get let out almost immediately without cash bonds. I find it ironic that in San Francisco if the fellow that played hammer time on Paul Pelosi had done that to most anyone else nothing at all would have been done.

Liberals and Democrats make a mess of everything they touch because they were not born with basic common sense.

Clearly many, perhaps including the perp, are engaged in mis-information that may tend to overthrow the current Junta.

THAT is now a Federal Offense.

Federal agencies often assist in investigations where no federal laws are said to have been violated. The ATF runs the weapon to see where/when it was purchased, and the FBI helps with evidence collection, analysis, and information contained in federal databases.

Actually, they don’t. It’s an effort on their part to insinuate themselves into local every day state and local law enforcement.
FBI and ATF are terrible untrained and unprepared for street level violence. The actual assistance they offer is miniscule.

What they are doing is rushing to the scene of something they think could make the news. Also, despite today’s hit movies and TV shows, they do not have the ability to “take over” and take command of a local/state incident.

I literally said they “assist” with local investigations. I never said they take over. The ATF runs serial numbers of weapons and FBI helps with evidence collection, if requested, and runs the suspect through federal databases. Not sure why that’s so controversial.
