Hollywood celebrities including Leonardo DiCaprio and his Shutter Island co-star Mark Ruffalo celebrated the narrow presidential victory of Brazil’s socialist candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva over incumbent conservative populist Jair Bolsonaro on Sunday.
Celebrities called it a win for the environment while also expressing hope that the same thing will happen in the United States.
“The outcome of the Brazilian election presents an opportunity to change the course of history, not just for Brazil & the Amazon, but for the world,” DiCaprio tweeted.

Yeah, it’s going to change the course of history in Brazil for sure. It’s going to ruin Brazil in short order, just like Biden has ruined the U.S. in a period of two years. The people of Brazil are going to learn the hard way what a fatal mistake they have just made, just like we learned after Biden stole the election and we lost a vibrant economy under Trump for the wreck of an economy we mow have.
Brazil has a hard lesson to learn here, while huge amounts of their taxpayer dollars are going to be sunk into the bottomless pit of the environmental movement in the name of climate change. Fools all. Brazil has made its bed and now they all get to lie in it.

I say, give them what they want. Tax the movie studios and actors at 70%. Redistribute their cars, yachts and private planes to the poor. Let them ride public transportation to work and take Amtrak instead of airlines.
