Donald Trump warned the Germans: you are too dependent on Russian energy.
They laughed at him, and the leftist media ridiculed Trump...
Well they aren't laughing anymore.
Trump was 100% correct. By letting Russia supply an astonishing 80% of their fuel -- while focusing 100% on "green energy" -- Germany was putting their nation and people at grave risk.
All it took was a war in Ukraine and Russian fuel cutoffs to wreak havoc.
Now, Germany is so desperate for electricity that they are destroying wind turbines to expand coal mines to power the coal-fired power plants that remain on their grid.
And the results are causing the rest of the world to laugh at Germany...

Notice that in the video clip a few years back, that rather than let the video stand on its own, they interjected text that says “Trump’s inaccurate claims...”. Seems standard with the leftist mainstream media, to always state “inaccurate claims” when referring to the truth that President Trump spoke. Meanwhile, leftist politicians like Biden get a free pass despite Biden lying. President Trump speaks truth, and the leftist spin-masters try to brainwash the masses.
Germany has lots of good coal in the Ruhr area that no f’n windmills and solar panels can replace in value. I never understood why a country that produced Einstein, Schrodinger and Max Planck preferred to be led by a Swedisch meatball like Greta and, 90 years ago, by Hitler. Perhaps they’re not that smart after all. I hope they can de-water the mines fast enough before winter sets in. I miss the Altbier in Dusseldorf.
Funny how when times force you to grow up, the playthings are put away.
