San Francisco district attorney Brooke Jenkins on Sunday released some new details, and more importantly corrected some bad information published by various outlets, about the attack on Paul Pelosi.
"At the time that the suspect, Mr. DePape, entered the Pelosi home ... he was in fact looking for Ms. Pelosi. The other thing is we want to make it clear that there were only two people in the home at the time that the police arrived -- Mr. Pelosi and the suspect. There was no third person present," Jenkins said.
San Francisco police chief Bill Scott said responding officers saw suspect David DePape hit Paul Pelosi with a hammer. They tackled and arrested DePape.
"We have nothing to suggest that these two men knew each other prior to this incident," Jenkins said.
"It was a forced entry into the rear door of the home. [DePape] ultimately did make his way upstairs, which is where he ultimately confronted Mr. Pelosi," Jenkins said.
The Associated Press reported DePape carried zip ties with him and asked Mr. Pelosi "where is Nancy?"
Jenkins would not confirm if the intruder had zip ties.

Sigh. I understand completely. I have a brother and his wife who are all in on all things Leftist, part of the “Resist” organization, all that.
I am trying to find a way to keep a relationship with him as my brother. It isn’t easy for me, as you can guess.
Anyone who pays attention to the history of Leftism knows that elimination of opposing views (and ultimately, the people who hold them if they refuse to refudiate them) is always on their road to serfdom.
It all comes down to “Conform or Die.”

My understanding of that was that the phone call Paul Pelosi made to the emergency line, stated that he seemed confused, so that initiated a welfare check.
As someone has said, it’s information warfare and the Dems know how to play it. We’re a little behind on that front and need to catch up.

That’s right. I have a friend whose mother is the same. The mother thinks that CNN or any news channel can’t say something if it isn’t true. The mother is a total air head. No critical thinking skills whatsoever.

yes, Paul seemed confused... his gay encounter got out of hand, and he was scared. He couldn’t pay his hooker, nancy was out of town, he couldn’t call the cops because the story would ruin nancy. he grabbed a hammer and went out to ask david to leave. david wanted his money and held the hammer. when the cops arrived, paul was relieved and let go the hammer, david realized he was going to jail and beat paul with a bash...
everyone can see this. the dems trying to make it anything else will only fool their base.
Paul Pelosi is a multi millionaire and Nancy is second in line for POTUS. Their exclusive home is in a crime filled city. Impossible to believe there was no security system that would have alerted police to a break in or that a nudist nut job in his underwear was able to circumvent the alarms. The police call was for a “welfare check” not a break in. The DA is just spinning the story to fit the given narrative. Somehow I don’t think many people are buying this malarkey.

Every single item in the story the Police changed today clicks a box in protecting the Pelosi’s and defending them systematically.
Why would you say “SOMEONE” let the Police in the front door if there was only a Homeowner and a Perp?

It was reported before the twisting of the story that he was in his underwear and that Police first observed Pelosi with the hammer, and then a struggle over the hammer.
Friend David let Paul excuse himself to the bathroom, let him answer and unlock the front door, and he left him arm himself with a hammer?
And none of the staff were around, and none of the alarms went off.
