The attack on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul Pelosi was initially shocking, and the media was quick to blame Trump supporters or conservative activists. But details emerging show that though the event is still shocking, it shocks in a different direction.
Here’s what Fox News says about the attack:
The husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Paul, was assaulted with a hammer early Friday inside his San Francisco home by an attacker identified by police as David DePape, who a law enforcement source tells Fox News was shouting “Where is Nancy, where is Nancy?”
San Francisco Police Chief William Scott said DePape, 42, who is a man reported being a former Castro nudist and hemp jewelry maker is now facing charges of attempted homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, elder abuse, burglary, and several other additional felonies stemming from the incident after 2 a.m.
Scott said police responded to a well-being check and found DePape and Paul Pelosi, 82, struggling over a hammer. He said officers then witnessed DePape pull the hammer away from Pelosi and “violently assaulted” him.
Officers then immediately tackled DePape, disarmed him and took him into custody, while requesting emergency backup and rendering medical aid at the scene. The motive for the attack remains under investigation.
A source that spoke to Fox News said the intruder confronted the Speaker’s husband shouting “where is Nancy, where is Nancy?”
“Early this morning, an assailant broke into the Pelosi residence in San Francisco and violently assaulted Mr. Pelosi,” Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill said. “Mr. Pelosi was taken to the hospital, where he is receiving excellent medical care and is expected to make a full recovery.
The spokesman also said, “The Speaker and her family are grateful to the first responders and medical professionals involved, and request privacy at this time.”
The White House said President Biden “is praying for Paul Pelosi and for Speaker Pelosi’s whole family” following the “horrible attack.”
The details of the attack are being questioned on social media:
“The Pelosi story doesn’t make sense at all. No random person can just break into the home of the 3rd in line to the United States Presidency. There’s more to this.”

Questions arise from the report by Politico that Paul Pelosi called 911 from the bathroom, where he had requested to go when he felt the need. Usually attackers do not offer bathroom breaks.
Yo what kind of home invasions include bathroom breaks?? pic.twitter.com/U6Gjj6alRl

It appears we are not getting the real story, according to a conversation a mainstream media reporter had with his boss, Defiant America reports.
Reporter on a hot mic after San Francisco Police Press Conference regarding Paul Pelosi, on the phone with the boss:
“Hey so is this the dude that is a former nudist dude?”
“Yea okay, is it okay to say any of that stuff?”
“Nope?”
The dispatch official then said that Pelosi informed 911 that he did not know who the attacker was but gave his name and then explained that “he is a friend.” Police audio of SFPD’s ‘welfare check’ call about Paul Pelosi says that he called “David” a “friend” who seemed “confused.”
Defiant America sums up the facts:
1-Cops weren’t called for a break-in but were there to check
2-PP and the guy were fighting for the hammer
3-Assault didn’t happen until cops got there
4-Guy found with his underwear
5-Called the attacker a friend on the police dispatch
6-And now this reporter asking if it’s okay to report something…
Again, social media reflects on this:
Fox just reported the suspect was arrested in his underwear.

Commentator Wayne Dupree offers his take on these questions:
There’s something really weird about this Paul Pelosi attack story. Nothing is adding up. But one thing we do know is that the so-called “intruder” is some hippy-dippy dude from Berkeley who sells hemp bracelets and used to belong to a nudist colony. So, they’ll be really hard-pressed to blame this on a Trump supporter. But this story is bizarre, Fox News just reporter confirmed that the hippy guy was in his underwear when police arrived.
Now, before the media realized the “intruder” was a nudist hemp hippy from Berkely, they were breathlessly reporting on this story, suggesting it was a “political attack.” Blue checks on Twitter were sure it was a MEGA MAGA bad guy and were already celebrating. But alas, it’s a nude hippy who loves Castro and hates war.
So, when a reporter was discussing the case with his boss right after the SFO police press conference, he checked with him to see if he was allowed to bring up the “nudist” or any of that “stuff,” and the boss apparently said “no.”
I don’t know if you can find a more perfect example of fake news or propaganda media than this. This reporter knows the “game” so well, that he double-checks with his boss about the “liberal hippy stuff” before he reports the facts… that’s right because facts always take a backseat to progressive propaganda.
Maybe Paul was about to Jeffrey Dahmer his friend and that explains the glass being on the outside when his friend attempted an escape.
Paul will be known forever as “Old Hammerhead”. I first alluded that it was a Trump agent who got to Paul, but I was wrong. A Trump assassin would have had the good sense to attach a silencer to the hammer.
And Nancy hasn’t said a thing.
RE: And then Nancy retires on Marco Island and lives happily ever after.
Hope it happens ASAP.
Why don’t we know this guy’s political affiliation?
Is there talk of a love triangle?
As theybssy, this is an evolving story...as they make it up.
Yes it does. Looks like when the cat’s away the mice will play.
and ***found*** DePape and Paul Pelosi, 82, struggling over a hammer
OK... so who let them in then???
And Xi Jin Ping kept all that info in the back of his head while Nancy visited Taiwan.
Police audio of SFPD’s ‘welfare check’ call about Paul Pelosi says that he called “David” a “friend” who seemed “confused.”
4-Guy found with his underwear
Haha...I do...every night
LOL! It ain't elder abuse if you pay for it.
OK, here’s what I have been gathering so far:
* What we do know is that Paul Pelosi was attacked with a hammer.
* He suffered some kind of injury that required a trip to the hospital and an operating table.
* We know that the police showed up prior to the attack commencing and that Paul Pelosi was attacked in their presence. THIS IS THE WEIRDEST FACT OF ALL.
* We know the assailant was arrested in his underwear. We also know that a glass door was shattered.
SEE HERE:
* We know that the attacker, David DePape is a hemp jewelry-making nudist protester.
* The attacker’s house show signs supporting Bernie Sanders and Chesa Boudin, both far-left figures. The flag out front is a gay pride/marijuana flag (what will they come up with next?). Further, DePape is apparently a “father figure” to the children of a woman in a commune who is married to another man. That woman is known for her public proclamation of 9/11 conspiracy theories, which are typically a left-wing pursuit.
A friend of Trudeau, perhaps.
Any time I hear the name Castro mentioned, I think of the JFK assassination.
RE: Any time I hear the name Castro mentioned, I think of the JFK assassination.
OK, many FReepers have already stated that the “Castro” being mentioned is the CASTRO district of that area, not the Castros of Cuba. I Get it, but somehow, this needs to be repeated in this thread.
