Elon Musk has already had a volatile effect after taking control of Twitter, and at least one advertiser - one of Musk's Tesla competitors - has paused advertising on the social media giant to take stock of the situation.
General Motors, which competes with Musk's car company, announced it has 'temporarily paused' it's paid advertising on Twitter.
However, the company said in a statement that they will continue to interact with Twitter's customer care service.

A given.
The Left’s plan to cripple or destroy Twitter: Remove as much of their ad revenue as possible.
Let’s make a list, check it twice, and circulate it to all Trump supporters.
Not enough woke people with $$$ to keep GM in business.
Weaklings with no fortitude.
What exactly are they protesting by pulling ads?
I bet they don’t have the guts to say anything to try to define it. Because really there’s nothing to protest.
It’s not like Musk is any kind of true conservative or even throwing around the name of a particular political party. All that is happening here is we get to see what happens when someone with money and a little power dares to be independent in thought and action. That’s really all this is.
It shouldn’t be all THAT big of deal, except that apparently Twitter is/was more than it is supposed to be. So what if a different tech mogul buys them? WHY is that so important? Oh... because the platform really did exist for reasons other than just making profit or being an open public forum for discourse. Tech sites come, tech sites go, others rise and take their place. MySpace, AOL Instant Messenger, Compuserve... it was just a footnote in news when they faded. But Twitter? No, TWITTER being bought out by a consortium led by Elon Musk had our current administration threatening to look at it for NATIONAL SECURITY reasons. A large number of countries around the globe have access to and use Twitter. What questions do you think they were asking themselves when they saw that? The US has not cited national security concerns about hundreds of other high profile tech sites being gobbled up and moved overseas over the years. But this one was somehow different.
I hope they go broke.
The left has never been able to “cripple” any Elon Musk company. Not going to happen now either.
Musk is CRUSHING GM from Tesla. GM had to hit back somehow.
Chuckle.
I have seen some unbelievable concoctions from auto correct. Even typing this response to you, I have already seen some strange things. Sometimes, however, auto correct DOES fix mistakes, and sometimes it does not. 😆🤪
Fascism on display - Private businesses doing what our Constitution prohibits the government from doing. Censorship by coercion.
Why are these companies afraid of free speech?
The keyboard has some “swipe” feature where it loves to insert words. I’m constantly trying to backspace to remove them but they may pop up from time-to-time.
Auto correction is my worst enema.
Oh yes
Especially when I’m trying to assemble a ping list and it doesn’t like the FR handles
What a woketard clown world we’re trapped in.
What exactly are they protesting by pulling ads?
This is not a sign of weakness by GM. This is a nod to the Woke Crowd and a signal to that Crowd that GM is playing by Woke rules.
With the Woke Crowd/Group, you are either on the inside or you are on the outside. If you are on the outside, you are hated and vilified. Outsiders are fascists, racists, Nazis, and all other kinds of despicable.
As a side note, the actual descriptions (fascists, racists, etc.) don't have any specific meaning anymore. They just mean, "bad" and "outside" the Crowd. Outsiders are dead to the Woke insiders...or at least worthy of death.
GM is making its choice known. This is a big deal!
My voice to text one time turned *art afficianado” into “artificial nachos”.
It’s always strange. I just deal with it. 👍🤪
LOL. I have seen worse. 👍😂
But GM knows that the Democrats will give them endless amounts of tax dollars, so they don’t care.
