The troubling thing about this whole debacle is the timing of the debate. Another thread said that 65% of the ballots had already been cast before the debate even occurred. That is another clue that all of the Rats thought this would be a total cluster&*^%*^&%$.
I bet some of those 65% wish they would have waited to vote BUT if they weren’t willing to wait after the debate, their minds were made up I suppose.

Agreed. It was a rock and a hard place decision. In retrospect the wrong choice was made not to try to just hit it out, but I think a reasonable advisor could have gone the other way. Anyone who told Hobbs to hold the line is guilty of malpractice, however. I think her stonewalling has and is going to cost her dearly
