Analysts at the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics released an analysis on Wednesday, less than two weeks before the midterms, stating that the Republicans will regain the majority in the House.
“We now rate 218 House seats — the magic number for winning a majority — as at least Leans Republican in our House ratings,” the Center for Politics’ Kyle Kondik said in his analysis on Wednesday, meaning if the analysis is correct, GOP candidates will win the number of seats needed for the majority.

Good first step
I’m sure Bret Baer will be as giddy as when the Democrats took over /s
Now if we only had a law purging communists out of our government.
We need a veto proof majority of non swamp creatures
We don't need any more stinking laws. We just need to take them out. By ANY means necessary.
we need about 54 in the senate excluding murkowski
Probably the senate too.
If the elections were on the level then the republicans would have a large majority.
Brets a punk
I’ll believe that once I see it. Demographic change has shifted elections to the left. Especially true here in California.
Fox will likely call it for the Dems 5 minutes before the polls close and then go along with the 3 am ballot dumps as totally legit and anyone who questions it is crazy narrative..
funny thing though, all the Hispanics that were supposed to be a lock for the dems, well they’re not
MAGA
“we need about 54 in the senate excluding murkowski”
52 is also a magic number. Romney will leave the party if it’s 51. If it’s 52, he can do more damage by remaining as a Republican so he will stay.
His sub rosa support for left-wing “unaffiliated” Evan McGuffin in the Utah senate race means he has nothing now to lose. He won’t win his senate seat if he runs again so he is essentially term limited. That’s when “moderate” republicans are most dangerous.
He will do whatever damages the America First agenda the most for the remainder of his term.
