When you believe in things that are nonsense, an encounter with reality will seem rife with paradoxes.

I see this as more of a course correction than devolution. “Green” energy sources are still a utopian fantasy where large-scale energy needs are concerned. Still, you know this must stick in the EU’s craw. Schadenfreude, baby!

Let’s see...high priced, very unreliable power that chops up millions of raptors, has a short economic life, requires 1,000 TONS of concrete in the ground, has worthless blades that cannot be recycled, and will never amount to a hill of beans.
Versus...dispatchable, low cost power that will keep people from freezing in the winter.
Where’s the “paradox”?

this abandoned excavator in former East Germany. Start with an oil change, fresh grease in all the fittings. new starting batteries... and a tanker truck full of WD-40. Leave the fresh paint for later.
