NBC said earlier today that Pennsylvania Democratic Senate nominee John Fetterman ‘set expectations low’ during a statement he made before the debate.
He certainly is not surpassing the low bar he set for himself so far.
Fetterman opened the debate with an embarrassing gaffe, saying, “Hello, good night, everybody.” during his introductory statement.
Fetterman has continued to stumble his way throughout the debate all night, though Oz has refrained from attacking Fetterman for his health issues so far.
Instead, Oz highlighted Fetterman’s disconnect from the working class voters he claims to represent.
He began by discussing how Fetterman lived with and took money form his parents until well in to his 30’s and 40’s.
Then, Oz hit him with a hilarious one liner during a discussion about the minimum wage.
Oz said that Fetterman “Thinks the minimum wage is his weekly allowance from his parents.”
Democratic nominee and Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman currently holds a narrow lead of Trump-endorsed Mehmet Oz.
In a 538 polling average, Fetterman was leading by 5.8 percent at the beginning of the month. Just two weeks out from the election, he holds a lead of 2.3 percent, well within the margin of error.
A RealClearPolitics polling average shows Fetterman with an even narrower lead of only 1.3 percent, down from 4.3 percent at the beginning of the month.
FEC filings coming in this week indicate that both candidates have burned through the vast majority of their campaign funds, with Fetterman posting $4 million cash on hand and Oz with $2 million cash on hand.

If he wins, after this debacle, we will know the polls are crap, and the votes are rigged, and the Republic is dead...................
It truly is an embarassment to PA that this race is even close.
Philadephia will be up late election night manufacturing enough ballots to bring Lumpy over the line.

I think you’re right. FBN referenced how the liberal media touted Fetterman’s performance as if he crushed Oz.
And many Americans simply go by what the media tells them.

Someone suffering from a stroke, then wanting to continue being in the public eye should expect people will key in on their medical condition. Someone who can't put a sentence or thought together has no damn business making decisions for millions of people.
I have a feeling that his wife is standing behind the curtain, ready to go.
Oz did OK, but lets be honest Fetterman destroyed Fetterman last night, literally from the first sentence, “Hi goodnight...”
